As we arrived at the bustling harbor, the excitement was palpable. The boat, a magnificent flybridge catamaran, awaited us with open arms. Greeted by the warm and welcoming crew, we were handed glasses of cava and fruit juice, setting the tone for a day of luxury and adventure. The parasailing crew ensured a safe and exhilarating experience, complete with the obligatory “feet dip” in the ocean. Meanwhile, I took to the kayak and paddleboard, exploring the serene waters and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings.

A Feast for the Senses

As the sun began its descent, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, we gathered for a sumptuous lunch prepared by the crew. Fresh tuna, succulent chicken, and a medley of salads and potatoes graced our plates, a feast that satisfied both the palate and the soul. It was a moment of camaraderie, sharing stories and laughter as we savored the flavors of the sea.

Our journey continued to Playa de Veneguera, where a kayak delivered more fresh food, much to our amusement. Dubbed “Uber Eats on a kayak,” it was a delightful surprise that added to the day’s charm. With full bellies and happy hearts, we had the option to explore the “big cliffs” or continue our aquatic adventures. We chose the latter, indulging in more snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding.

As we made our way back to the harbor, the crew offered us a choice: follow the coast or venture further out to sea. Opting for the open ocean, we were rewarded with a rare sighting of dolphins and flying fish, a magical encounter that left us in awe. The day ended with a final stop at the picturesque Puerto Mogan, where a crew member’s impressive free-diving skills saved a lost headband from the depths.

Returning to Puerto Rico as the sun dipped below the horizon, I couldn’t help but reflect on the day’s adventures.
