Sometimes, the best adventures are the ones you stumble upon by accident. That’s exactly what happened when I found myself in Puerto Rico, eager to explore the lush landscapes of El Yunque National Forest. I had procrastinated on booking any tours, and as luck would have it, all the group tours were fully booked. Initially, I was a bit bummed, but this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I ended up booking a private tour, and it was worth every penny!
Our guide, Francisco, was a gem. He was knowledgeable, passionate, and had an infectious love for the forest. The 20-foot slide was exhilarating, and the optional 3-foot high jump from a rock was the cherry on top. It was a day filled with laughter, splashes, and unforgettable memories.
