Our guide Pedro was... - Our guide Pedro was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, funny, and great with the children on the tour. He was thoughtful in ways to keep the children engaged and having fun! The hikes were more like walks so very easy! We did swim first, which I wish it was clear that was the only time we would be swimming. The itinerary made it seem like we would swim at the end so the adults we were traveling with held out-more our error of interpretation but I wish it had been more clear that was the only time to swim.

Awe inspiring tour of El Yunque - Our tour of El Yunque was outstanding! Our Guide, Isaac, was so knowledgeable and fun! As we drove through San Juan on our way to the rainforest, he pointed out historically significant spots throughout the city. Once arriving at El Yunque, we were blown away by its beauty, the canopy of trees that extended for miles and miles. Isaac guided us through the rainforest, and helped us at more challenging sections. I found the path to be medium difficulty in spots, but I was able to enjoy my hike, even with alignment issues. I found the lunch to be an authentic experience, and the smoothies were delicious. I did not want a big lunch right after the hike anyway. The one piece of advice I would give is to bring a light raincoat and wear waterproof clothing. It rained a lot, but of course, it's a rainforest! El Yunque is a must see!
