Incredible jungle tour! - The jungle tour was absolutely amazing and definitely one of the highlights from our trip to Puerto Rico! The early pick up is absolutely worth it, as it means that the jungle is a lot quieter when you get there and you are there ahead of any long queues at the water area. We did the natural waterfall slide which was super fun, jumped off cliffs, and did rope jumping! It all was super fun and the surrounding nature of the jungle was truly incredible! Our tour guides were also super lovely, teaching us about the flora and fauna that we passed in the jungle, and helping us as we did the (relatively short) hike to the water area.

Rainforest Adventure! - Stephanie was an excellent tour guide for our waterslide/waterfall excursion in El Yunque! She was very knowledgeable of the park and trails, and she guided us through every step of muddy paths and rocky terrain. Safety was an obvious priority throughout, and she was very accommodating for various skill levels within the group. Prompt, prepared, professional, and very personable! Having a smaller group was also a plus (we saw other groups with 30+ people). Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a fun adventure in the rainforest!

If you want a "Real Adventure" take this tour. - This tour was an adventure. It was just as advertised. You do need to be in pretty good shape to be able to handle the hiking & climb through the rocky terrain, but our tour guide, Stephanie, was just great and we were able to handle more than we thought because we are not as young as we used to be. Stephanie went above and beyond to give us confidence. When we arrived at the waterfall it was well worth the hike. I recommend this tour, but I would request Stephanie as your tour guide. Be prepared to get dirty and wet but it was expected.

Shout out to Eliu for a... - Shout out to Eliu for a seamless day trip! We were picked up at the projected time from our hotel and since this trip was earlier, we beat the rest of the Saturday crowds and didn't have to wait to enjoy all the water-based activities. Saturday was definitely for people in good physical condition, and definitely be ready to get a bit muddy, but was a great trip to learn a few fun facts and enjoy the rainforest!

A must do! - Stephanie was amazing! She made it fun & educational. She made our experience very comfortable making our way thru the mud and rocks. She encouraged us to get out of our comfort zone and enjoy the whole experience of the hike, waterfall slide, jumping off cliffs & swinging on the rope to jump into the water! Highly recommended! Two thumbs up!!!

Best Day in San Juan - Our guide Catherine was amazing. We were picked up at our hotel before 7am and avoided the large crowds being bused in from the ships. The hike is muddy. Really muddy. It’s a challenge to make it to the watering hole. I would say about 30-40 minutes to get there depending on how fast others in your group are moving. But this is not a casual stroll. Catherine explained about the flora and how the eco system in the rain forest works. It was both an education and a workout on our way up. Once at the watering hole aka homebase you need to hike another 10-15 minutes up to the top of the waterfall. It’s technical in spots and not everyone chose to do it. The guides work in tandem to make sure everyone gets up safely and well worth it. The water slide. The cliff jumps and rope swing are all a blast. After about an hour so there we made our way back down to the starting point. Things to keep in mind. It will rain. Your shoes are going to covered in mud. You will get a rinse at the end but wear appropriate sneakers or hiking shoes. Sandals won’t cut it. Have something to keep your phone and belongings dry. Catherine had a dry bag for the phones but a change of clothes in the van for the ride back is the way to go. You’re in the rain forest and you will be a mess at the end. All worth it and couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Catherine leading the way.

The Rainforest - The rainforest is only a tropical forest area with no wildlife except stray cats, dogs, chickens and Rosters. The trek was down a mud drenched difficult pathway to a large waterfall type area with a rock slide, rock jumping 12 feet off the water surface and a rope swing into a water hole area. Great for the younger generations who really enjoyed it but if you are 50 and older, this is not what we expected.
