Surround yourself by breathtaking nature & get in a good workout while your at it!! - 10 out of 10! Definitely, recommend!! Julio & Tainia were our tour guides for this beautiful excursion through the El Yunque Rainforest. Pick up was on time at 715am. We were seat comfortably in a AC van. The drive was about an hr into the mountains. The guides prepared us mentally for the experience that was going to happen. The hiking was no joke! But honestly, if you are into nature and an active person who is up for a bit was a challenge, this trip is a must do when visiting PR! The views of the rainforest and nature, learning about the history and the springs were just amazing. Definitely got in a good sweat in. But, making it up the mountains & finally getting into the springs made the hike all worth it. I conquered my fears lol by cliff-diving and rope-swinging into the natural pool!! Enjoyed every moment. I truly did experience a slice of paradise today! I’d definitely do it again!!! Thanks Julio & Tainia, you guys were superb!! ✨

El Yunque waterside and cliff jumping. - We're 60 and 61. Active, but nothing like this. The hike was a little challenging for my wife, but I was fine. No doubt about it. It's hot! You've most likely never experienced anything like this. Worth every dollar! About a 30 minute ride from Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve in Rio Grande. Can't imagine coming from San Juan. Should specify that this particular excursion is not in the park, but on private land. For us this ended up being perfect. Left at 8am. Back by 2pm. Catherine (LA Tain`a) was our guide. A beautiful kind soul! We really enjoyed it. No bugs! No particular shoes will help on the rocks. You'll slip. But hiking shoes will help on the trail. Don't need to be waterproof. They're getting submerged!

Stephanie and Eliu were... - Stephanie and Eliu were awesome!! We had the best time and highly recommend taking this excursion. Our start time was delayed by about 2-3 hours because we had to wait for some people from a cruise ship. That put a damper on the plans for the rest of the day as we were behind but they made it work and got us to where we needed to be in time.

Greatest experience (so far) in my life! - The entire experience was amazing!! The guides were excellent. They really cared about us and our safety. The hike was definitely moderate but enjoyable. A couple of us did it in water shoes, and it was fine. I HIGHLY recommend this excursion.

Fun but not so easy! - This tour was a bit misleading…it is label as moderate but I would definitely label this more on the strenuous side. I had a bit of trouble getting through the whole entire tour and opted to not partake in the best part of the tour ( water slide and waterfall) as by the time we got to the river I knew I couldn’t push myself to go the rest of the way…the hike was more than I had expected a moderate hike would have been and I walk 3 miles a day! However, our tour guide was great Eliu was patient with all of us and make the experience better with his knowledge and experience with the area. Overall, I would recommend this excursion with the caveat that it’s more strenuous than it’s been described.
