Entertaining and informative tour! - Very interesting tour of the Malecón, the Cathedral, and local tequila distillery, candy shop, silver shop and leather shop. Miquel was very informative about local culture and history and entertaining and engaging with the tour participants. Worth every dollar/peso:-)

great guide very... - great guide very informative and humourous. parts of tour a bit of waste of time The factory was in fact a shop which gave out samples of sweets, nuts etc. we were given 20 minutes there but everyone left the shop to walk around outside after 5 minutes.

Fun, but slow down - The place we landed was amazing. The experience was fantastic. Very disorganized on the the time things started. Left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing. Also, on the boat ride to the place, the MC/guide needs to SLOW down when speaking. Spoke broken English (which is understandable), but nobody in our group could understand what he was saying, not because of the broken English, but he was talk way too fast. Also, every excursion we have been on stated no gratuity, but they all had their hand out and expecting a tip. It is fine, we tipped on the excursions, just even though it states no gratuity, be prepared to tip.

DON'T DO THIS TOUR - Read the bad reviews.. THEY'RE NOT LYING!! Avoid it and just go to Puerto Vallarta town on your own. The tour started at 8am and they didn't feed us lunch till 3:00pm. Good thing we have snacks with us. It is a sponsored tour, they take you where they 'll have a cut I believe. We stop at a candy store, like they tell you like it's the only candy store in there, same with leather store, jewelry store, tequila place. You spent more time in there and they gave us 15 min to roam the puerto vallarta town. 15 MINUTES people!!! My son was so hungry that we didn't even have enough time to buy a decent lunch in town. The 1st freelance roam is 40 min, then 15 min. The rest are you go to this "selected" shopping places . YES, lunch was 3:00pm.. he let us have tequila tasting on an empty stomach. Lunch was a ripped off.. it's like a small cafeteria. You're budget is basically $20, those are just the kebabs, NOT GOOD! If you want extra, you have to pay. The server insisted we give them 20% tip!!! Husband just didn't want to argue as we are so tired. On their site, they mention includes Entry/admissions. There is no freaking admissions in the town and churches. It's free for everyone!! Oh I just hated it so much and I don't want other people to fall in it. Just take the taxi to the town and enjoy the puerto vallarta town on your own without being rushed. There's so much to see in thefe that we didn't even got a chance to roam. Where in the world can you go in 15 min? You can't even look around in 1 store for that time.. JUST DON'T DO THIS TOUR. It's the cheapest but it'll be a waste of your money. Just please do yourself a favor and book a.different tour. You can do the town tour on your own. Lot's of tequila tasting in town as well..

An sponsored shopping tour - This was more of a sponsored shopping tour disguised as a city tour, we had ten minutes to explore the malecon, but 30 min to shop at the very expensive jewelry store. Every stop was a sponsored shop stop, the history and city part of the tour was rather small. Then we took a long ride up the hill with no stop for uphill views, lunch was in the middle of no where, where you will also be up-charged your lunch for the promoted seafood lunch, then tequila tasting next door (tequila was good but again huge up-charge). It will ends with a two hour ride back to the hotel (I timed it). It was a full day where there was maybe 1 hour of city sightseeing, a complete disappointment. One lady in our group, completely left the tour, she took a cab back from the lunch place, wish I had done the same. Save your money go see the city on your own

A city tour became a shopping tour! - Too much time in shopping. Only like 5 minutes in Malecon. Lots time spend in candy shop,in jewellery shop and Tequila shop.
