My favorite snorkeling in Puerto Vallarta - Last December I went with my partner since we were on our honeymoon, the treatment they gave us was very good, I liked the food and the time we spent on the beach too. We wanted to go to Playa del Amor and it was a pleasant experience. I recommend pre-paying for Playa Hidden to secure your place.

Would do again - This was the best boat tour around. We come every year and we return because of the attentive super staff. Safety & satisfaction is their highest priority. Don’t be discouraged by the port taxes it’s a Mexico thing. Th boat is clean the food is prepared fresh and the open bar is a great plus. Captain Carlos, Emilio the guide are fantastic. Also, can’t forget the staff photographer Elli is great she captured all of our memories when we couldn’t take our camera in the water. 🇲🇽🌊🐟

GREAT DAY! - We had an amazing time. Just heads up that THIS version of the tour is only for the islands and snorkel. We also ended up paying extra for the hidden beach. There also was an option to pay extra for a smaller boat ride around the islands -- kind of like a nature tour where they point out birds, etc. We did not do that. Some logistics that I wish I had known: When you arrive at the port it is kind of confusing -- there are people there who seem to be helpful, directing you, but they are just sales people for time shares. Just walk on by and go right to the place to pay the port fee. Then go to the tour office. Basically there seemed to be 3 key, but separate charges -- one on line here for the tour fee, one at the port office for the port fee, and one tax to go to the island that you pay at the tour office. THEN you can pay extra for the hidden beach and/or the nature tour. (or I guess choose a different package to start with that includes that) The tour itself -- Breakfast was eggs and chicaquiles. The deck hands are very helpful, funny/engaging, friendly. The boat there is essentially a ferry boat, with open seating. It was a 2 hour trip there. Once we arrived, we hopped into a smaller boat to take us to the hidden beach. That took us pretty close and then we had to swim in -- they casually check if you are a good swimmer. I am an 'ok' swimmer and made it fine but it was challenging against the current! Our snorkel time (available to all as part of this tour) was just 'ok' - it was just about 15 min long. We wished for more time. The kayak and paddleboarding is just allowed around the board which seemed silly but if you have never done that then maybe ok. We do this all the time at home and simply circling a ferry boat was dumb to us. After the water adventures, the bar is open and lunch served. Lunch is just 'ok' -- ham and cheese sandwich. But I was starving by then and enjoyed it! There was a deckhand on board who was taking fun photos throughout which cost $40 at the end to buy. I thought she did a great job. Overall really an amazing day.

Great time, great crew - We had a great time, Manny and the marine biologist were highlights (sorry we did not recall your name, marine biologist!) Breakfast and lunch were actually pretty good, the sights and information was enjoyable. We took the little eco-tour trip around the island ($10 US each) but skipped the lover's beach trip. Everyone -staff and guests - were very nice, which made it a great part of our anniversary week. The weakest part - the drinks. I tried four or five different drinks to find one that was tasty, and didn't really find one. It probably kept me from overindulgence, but a good tasting drink would have been nice.

Great experience - It was a long full day trip. Be ready for 2 hrs each way. Food and drinks were decent. The crew were fantastic and accommodating. We did not do any of the add ons except the photos. If you wanna save on photos, bring your own with a phone waterproof case.

Best was not part of the Trip - We saw whales.!! Nov. 28th was the best part. Being yelled at to swim faster and they are wearing fins, not cool. Lift jacket choking people to snorkel suxs. A great swimmer without the option to swim without the life vest and no fins provided

Not worth 9 hours of your day - I requested to go to the hidden beach at the time of my reservation. When we arrived to check in, they could not find my reservation. When they finally did, we boarded the boat. They had no record that I had requested and been confirmed for the hidden beach. We were excluded from this tour and sat on the boat for a total of 9 hours. They did not serve lunch until 3pm. This was a long and highly disappointing experience. I’ve been to this location and to the islands many times before. This was an awful experience.

Disappointing - The trip to Las Marietas with Sea mi Amor was disappointing. The boat ride is three hours and another three to return. A total of six hours round trip. The time we spent at the marietas beach was less than 20 minutes. They have kayaks but you can only kayak around the boat. Only two kayaks were out for over a hundred people. It was a waste of a day. I do not recommend. They do have snorkeling and kayaking but it’s very limited time since you have to alternate with everyone else. Kayaking around the boat and 30 minutes snorkeling and 20 minutes beach time. With 6 hours of traveling, not worth the time.

Not worth it - They make you stay in the water for 45min snorkelling at a laughable cove where we only saw two tiny fish. Nothing to see after 5min and your not allowed to return to the boat till 45min is up. You then have to go back to the boat in groups on small boat. Hidden beach you have to be taken to by boat in small groups. If you stay on the boat your stuck sharing two kayaks and two paddle boards with potentially 50 other guests. Trip turned into a 9hr excursion because the boat was going so slow and a lot of wasted time at very basic sights. Food was meh - breakfast kinda gross actually. Staff was nice I guess. What a waste of a day.
