Fun and relaxing full day activity on the boat with family - Thank you for wonderful time we spent together as family with big kids on the boat!
Upon arriving to the port entry you will need to enter and proceed straight to the info desk and make a left - you will see workers who help to guide people to the right boat company ( there were about 4 boat companies working on our day ) Don't be distracted by "helpers" at the entrance. The day was beautiful and ocean was calm and everything was as good as expected and better. Only one suggestion for snorkeling part is to help snorkeling folks to adjust their gear in advance to arrival to snorkeling spot ( so they don't loose their precious time and enjoy fully snorkeling ) Overall it was fun experience and we would recommend it to other folks ( we left good tip to the crew in the end in appreciation of excellent work they all done )

Very nice trip for an entire day - Loved this tour! The people over the excursion was so nice. I enjoyed the activities at Majahuitas the water was sooo beautiful. Yelapa was nice as well I would recommend taking the atvs if you want to fully enjoy the waterfall but you can also hike as well. We finished off by enjoying the beach and the lunch that was provided. I would definitely do this again.

Great experience! - We loved the whole experience. The lines to pay your resort fees were very long and were a little rushed getting to the boat. However the line was fast. (arrive earlier than 930). The boat was great, food was amazing. Just be prepared if you get seasick as you feel it more on a small boat vs a cruise. First stop was fun, however felt short when doing kayaking, paddling or snorkeling. You were only able to choose one. It’s also not close to the sand so you’re only able to stay near the boat. Last stop was Yelapas. You get the option to use an atv, horse (you pay extra for atv or horse 550 pesos) or walk to the waterfall. When on the atv the ride seemed very long (they say it’s a 15min on horse or atv and 40min walking). However we saw ppl who walked get there at the exact same time, they came thru a different entrance which I believe had shortcuts. It is very steep however so if you walk make sure you can do it. The waterfall was beautiful but the area is very small. Still an amazing experience. The boat ride back was the best part. They had games and continue open bar and music. You must have an open mind and not be picky as of course it’s not the fanciest place. You get what you make of it. Great experience overall, we had two adults and one 8year old and everyone had an amazing time. Lastly only thing is, when getting on the transfer boats it has no stairs you must jump into it. You are helped by staff but if you have any disabilities or difficulty just be aware it may be a bit hard and a bit scary. Everyone helped eachother out and we all made it on and off safely but I did see some reviews of that being a complaint. Just be advised so you know what to expect.

Highly recommend! - Awesome day and worth the money for the full day with breakfast and lunch and activities. Yelapa is amazing, definitely visit if you have the chance. Be aware if you are hiking to the waterfall there are some steep inclines, we brought tennis shoes and sandals.

It's your excursion - don't be talked out of what you want to do. - The good...
Amazing price for a full day excursion, the sun, the water, the views.
Nice lunch at friendly designated spot - have the fish, because it's right there!
Hike to waterfall is very do-able unless you have mobility issues, forgo the quad or horse ride (at 600 pesos quite overpriced).
Friendly folks on the boat, have a few drinks on the house.
The bad...
Started out a full 30 minutes late. No explanation.
Very choppy waters, not our captain's fault, but caused some illness in some passengers, and downright dangerous as chairs were sliding around on the deck.
The snorkeling is NOT for beginners - the water is deep and dark and waves were high. Pressure to keep up, to stay in the group (I have no idea how they would manage a full boat - we had maybe 25 per cent capacity and they were still struggling to keep us all together). Water was murky and hard to see fish, but there were some nice schools. If you join the snorkel group you cannot return to the boat on your own so be sure you are a confident swimmer.
A lot of pressure to buy the quad or horse ride, which was expensive. You don't need it at all. The guide to walk you up goes quite fast, so be sure you can keep up, or don't... he'll come back for you. It's not a hard walk, and it's not a 45 minute walk - we did it in 20 and we're in our 60s.
There may be kayaks and paddleboards attached to the boat, but you won't use them. There isn't enough time at Yelapa to go out, and the water is too rough anyway.
Disappointed that, when we saw whales on the trip back, our captain did not slow or turn. He had a schedule and kept to it.

Good for adults - Our time in Yelapa was very nice. The boat ride there is long. The stop in Majahuitas was hard because my 6-year-old didn’t go snorkeling so we did the “kayaking” instead but they are some kind of plastic thing where your butt is in water and we just did a circle around the main boat. So that stop was not great for us. On the boat ride home the crew organized a dance competition. Which is fine, but the announcer was yelling so so so loud through all the speakers so there was nowhere to be that wasn’t super loud yelling. I wish they had turned off the upstairs speakers at least because they did the contest downstairs. The boat was too long and loud for our family with a six-year-old. But the time at the actual Yelapa destination was beautiful. I recommend this outing for people wanting to enjoy drinking on the boat.

Ok - Beautiful scenery, Yelapa was fantastic. Wish we had more free time to explore on our own.
Snorkeling was good. Guides were friendly. The beach landing was difficult, and would not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Not as described - I hate leaving negative reviews but this definitely wasn't the experience I thought we were paying for. The breakfast of cold scrambled eggs was yucky. Most of the other items listed weren't offered. It isn't clear in the description but you only get to choose one water activity and that part of the trip was maybe 1/2 hour at most. The most concerning part of the day was getting to Yelapa and moving from the big boat to small ones to go ashore. This was extremely difficult for older people or anyone with mobility issues. It didn't help that the deck hands were telling the older ladies to move faster. Getting out of the boat at the shore was even more challenging. One passenger was knocked over by the surf but luckily wasn't seriously injured. If you are young and strong and like loud music, you may enjoy this trip. Otherwise probably not
