Definitely recommend! - Great tour with lots of facts and history about PV. Tour guide was Omar and he was great with information and answering questions. Tequila tasting was an amazing experience to learn more about the process and tastes.

Omar our tour guide was... - Omar our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. He kept the tour fun and exciting. The distillery was great and so was the food. I’d highly recommend this tour. I am still waiting on my photo package so that took a little longer than I expected it to

Tasty Tequila and Shrimp - Although the day started out rainy, it ended up being a great trip. From the boardwalk to the tequila tasting to the chocolate area and the leather shop it was a fun day. The best part was the tequila tasting followed by one of the best shrimp meals I have ever had at Rancho Verano. Tested 5 different tequilas and then had 4 types of shrimp: bacon wrapped, coconut, fajita style, and seasoned butterfly. All with a warm mango sauce. Excellent lunch to end the tour. Omar was a great guide.

You are better off just getting an Uber and exploring the city yourself - We booked this tour as we wanted to get out of the Hotel Resort and learn more about the culture and history of Puerto Vallarta. In the description of the highlights of the tour, it states “a full day tour that explores downtown, Los Arcos and Mismaloya Beach”. We found most of the exploration was done through the windows of the bus. With regards to the 50 minutes allotted time for the Malecon Boardwalk as stated in the “What to expect” when we got off the bus, it was more like 10-15 minutes which was basically the walk from the bus to the jewelry store. It felt like every stop was just a tourist cash grab. FYI at the last stop there is only one restaurant. We found it to be very expensive. This is “NOT” a tour that is “ideal for families” as stated in the overview. Unless your children enjoy visiting jewelry and leather stores and learning about the process of making coffee and tequila. You are better off just getting an Uber and exploring the city yourself.

Not even close to authentic Puerto Vallarta - Except for Guadalupe church being on the tour and doing the tequila tasting, and some info as we walked the boardwalk, the rest was a complete waste of time. Going to their friends leather shop, and jewelery store? WTH does this have to do with a PV tour. Then we knew food wasn't included. But then find out to eat you shell out $80 to $100 while at the tequila distillery? What about authentic Mexican food instead of another place where they know the people to direct business their way? I wanted to discover PV, not get fleeced by it.

Please read. It may save you. - They should’ve paid us to go on this tour. It’s under the guise of tequila tasting and city tour and coffee tasting. Picked us up at 9 or 930. Can’t remember. They start off nice with some jokes and some interesting info about the city. Mentions of tequila tasting. You get off and walk along downtown for a guided information for about 15 minutes. Then you’re allowed to shop in a couple shops for 15 more minutes. Then the real fun.. these guys have some sort of deal with shops where they drop you off and essentially force you into specific stores. So after being allowed to shop Where you want. They drag you to a jewelry store. All of a sudden we have more than enough time to shop. Our whole group and the rest of the tour were just sitting there waiting to leave for what felt like hours. Then you get dragged to this souvenir/candy shop. Again we get there, cool and all. But you can only look at stuff for so long. So again we are just waiting to leave. Back on the bus. Probably about noon at this point. We take this long bus ride, while the words ‘tequila tasting’ keeps getting mentioned to keep people from shooting themselves. Up the mountain and guess what. Stop at some more shops… we’ve looked at basically the same stuff as we’re looking at now. Again just waiting to leave. And by this point I didn’t even care about tequila tasting. I just wanted it to be over. Finally. Back on the bus again. Up the mountain some more. Slow and long ride again. This time to the coffee place. It’s literally a store where you’re being haggled to buy the same crap you’ve seen a thousand times. And there’s this little tiny window you have 5 different coffee options to choose from. That’s their coffee tasting I guess. Okay so we’re at the coffee place for a good hour almost at least. There’s not enough things to look at or enough things to even do or walk to for an hour. You’re actually in the middle of nowhere so you couldn’t even walk to anywhere but a house. No I don’t want a picture with the horse. No I don’t want to look at this or look at that. Me, and my whole group (9 other people) want to go get this thing over with. Finally, bus again. Long slow trip. Finally, Get to the tequila tasting place. The carrot on the stick if you will. It’s been about 5 hours of nothing but being held hostage at this point. It’s been a long grueling day and everyone is starving. They Have ONE food place to choose from. You’re out in the middle of nowhere so you don’t have a choice and they must know this. It’s over priced food and you don’t have a choice (like the rest of this excursion, you feel like a hostage) so you get to do the tequila tasting. I’m surprised they didn’t make you purchase the tequila they were letting you sample, that’s how shady this whole thing felt. But free tequila or not, it would never make up for the 6 hours of nothing everyone was dragged through. We all ate and had a little alcohol in us which felt nice. And FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY. Back on the bus home. 1 hour drive back to the hotel. Total was an EIGHT HOUR ordeal. In eight hours we went to 3-4 trinket shops. One crazy expensive jewelry shop. The “coffee tasting” (which was just another ruse to have people go into a place to buy stuff knowing they can’t leave without you and your driver)And then tequila place/ restaurant. I could’ve done all that myself in an hour or two. But they won’t leave until they are certain everyone is done buying stuff from their pre meditated stores. I’m so upset because this is my first vacation in a year and I wasted an entire day here. Absolutely WASTED my day. I have never felt so taken advantage of as a tourist before. If you’re into excruciating boredom and lack of free will and also love souvenir trinkets. Then go for it.

Worst tour ever - More to do with getting you to buy then a city tour . Could do this on your own without having to spend money to be rush while viewing the city 🤔 but not rushed when you are ask to so call view there factory stores to spend money ...no rush there.

I paid for the tour for 2 people and we were never picked up at our resort. - Bad review. We were never picked up. I’m demanding a refund. Waste of time. We waited an hour for our ride. I texted the tour operator and no response.

Regretful - Unfortunately our tour was horrible! The tour did not start at 9 am as the tour times stated then it tòok over 1 hour for all passenger pickups which further delayed the tour to start after 10 am And then we still had a 2 hour travel time to the costal scenery for lunch and tequila tasting. The tour was literally too long and we only were able to tour a very small area of Puerta Vallarta. We did not join the group to finish the tour considering the time frame and we had made other plans expecting the tour to end at 3pm. We were very disappointed and would not recommend this tour.
