Great outdoor adventure - Booked this tour for my 16 year old daughter and I while on vacation in PV. Our driver picked us up near our hotel and he was the best, he made to ride to the ranch fun and entertaining. The ride through the jungle and river was exciting and the waterfall was beautiful. The staff at the ranch prepared a delicious lunch for us on our return and we enjoyed every bite. I would definitely recommend this tour for families visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Beautiful riding and hiking trip - We had quite an adventure leaving the main city and heading into the small town of Las Palmas to ride along the beautiful river and see El Salto, an beautiful waterfall that was worth the trip alone. The horses are well behaved. Be prepared to get a little wet, but it's worth it being able to cross the river at many different points and hike up to see the waterfall. The staff was very friendly. Lunch was delicious.

Beautiful horseback riding - I absolutely loved that we were riding our horses across the river. The nature was so beautiful with the trees, waters, and butterflies. It was really peaceful. The waterfall was also really beautiful but the hike to it was a little steep. It gets even better with the homemade tortilla and fajitas lunch afterwards with a tequila tasting straight from the barrel!

June 2024 Visit - This was a great experience! The guides are friendly and attentive. Be ready to HIKE up steep stairs to the waterfall but it’s worth it and you can go at whatever pace is comfortable for you. The food and tequila is delicious.

Wonderful afternoon - Hector was a great guide. The scenery is beautiful and it’s a very gently 1.5 hour ride broken up by a nice break near the waterfall. The horse was extremely well behaved and knew the route without my guidance. I didn’t opt to hike as the falls were dry. After the ride the food and drinks were amazing! Very fresh grill and tortillas. They made many strong margaritas and it was a party! Really enjoyed.

Amazing!! - Great experience all around! We went during the dry season so didn’t get to see any waterfalls but that didn’t matter because it was still beautiful! We still got to stop for a bit and swim a little. We made salsa, tasted tequila and had a delicious lunch! I would highly recommend! Ranch is beautiful - very clean and well kept!

Amazing!! - We had an amazing time! We went during the dry season so didn’t get to see the waterfalls but it didn’t matter, it was still beautiful and we were still able to stop along the way for a little swim. Sergio was our guide and he was awesome. Afterward we learned to make salsa, tasted some tequila and had a delicious lunch. The ranch is gorgeous. Very clean and well kept. I highly recommend!!

Horses & lunch ok; hike not so much! - Pleasant experience overall; shuttle bus was late picking us up, then we were stuffed like sardines in van with no AC. Staff was courteous; lunch tasty! Disliked: dismounted horses and sent on a hike over not well maintained trail where some steps were dangerous/handrails were falling apart or nonexistent at some points. We ended at waterfall fresh w recent downpour… had I’d been told about how strenuous hike was, and that we’d turn around and come back right away (not that anyone could swim at waterfall/river, mind you) I would’ve waited with the horses. If you’re a drinker, you’d enjoy open bar with margaritas and beer, tequila tasting, etc. Alas, I don’t drink much; appreciated service from staff!
