Relaxed tour, professional crew, enough time to see birds and fish - I loved the tour. The crew (led by Maui - not sure how to spell that) was very professional and friendly (to us and to each other). The food was nice (I'm vegetarian and there was enough fruit, bread, cheese available). The music was fun – though loud at times. Snorkeling was amazing! The rules and expectations were clear. None of it felt rushed. We saw cool fish and birds. I don't do this kind of tour usually and I was worried about doing a tour with 100 people, but I very much enjoyed the day.

Best thing we did in Puerto Vallarta - We went on the Marietas Island Eco Discovery which also stopped at Majahuitas as well. I cannot speak more highly of the whole experience. The staff and crew including Juan, Christian, Mawy, Gio and Ruben were all amazing and went above and beyond to make the trip memorable. The snorkeling was incredible and the food, drinks and entertainment on the boat was also so great. Massive amount of value for the money. Best part of our trip to Puerto Vallarta.

Great snorkel and beach excursion - Though we didn’t have the best weather at the start, we still had a great time! We booked this through Vallarta Adventures on Viator. This is great for anyone who wants some water time on their vacation. Our crew was fantastic - Poncho was our guide. They did their best to keep spirits high among the morning rain. When you arrive, the crew serves a little breakfast (OJ, apples, bananas, coffee, little pastries) so I wouldn’t say you need to eat before you go. The ride out was choppy - if you get seasick, this might not be the best excursion for you. However, because there was rain, we were the only boat at the Islas and got some great snorkeling time. You can borrow or buy your own snorkel. The lunch served was also better than we expected - large sandwich bread with all the fixings, potato salad, pasta salad, and lots of drink options. We spent the afternoon at Majahuitas beach which was beautiful. The weather cleared up which was perfect timing. We spent about an hour there before making the return trip back. I would definitely recommend bringing a towel, wear clothes (and shoes) you don’t mind getting wet, pesos for tips (plus 32 pesos per person as a port fee) and that’s about all you need. They have food, water, drinks and all the equipment needed. I’d highly recommend this!

Great time with professional and experienced guides! - What a great experience! Traveled with husband and two kids 12 and 15. We had never zip lined. The guides were knowledgeable, professional, and so friendly. They made us feel safe and helped us have an amazing time. I highly recommend this zip lining company. The food is made right there, by a lady in an outdoor kitchen, making homemade food and tortillas. It was authentic Mexican restaurant and was not over priced. There is tequila tasting. Just ask for it and you will receive:)

Extremely hospitable staff - We booked the tour through our hotel so we weren't sure what to expect but let's just say two of us learned very quickly that we are not boat people. Sea sick would be putting it lightly... But the crew of boat 1 went above and beyond to take care of us including mixing us tonics to settle our stomachs, providing sick bags, and constantly checking in on us. One worker, I believe his name was Reuben, went so far as to offer to share his own food with us during free time on the beach as he noticed we did not eat the lunch provided on the boat. You can tell they truly enjoy what they do and care about their guests. I'm happy to be back on dry land but I couldn't recommend this company enough and I'm sure any tour they offer would be made wonderful through the hard working efforts of the caring staff members.

Not suitable for families - This review is not about the crew- they worked really hard and deserve a lot of praise. This review is more about setting expectations: An "eco" tour suggested to me something more mellow and my biggest complaint is that this is really not family friendly. The music on the boat was BLASTED so loud to create this crazy party atmosphere which only about 7 people on the boat was really in the mood for. Who wants music blasting for 2.5 hours on a boat? My Apple Watch clocked it at 90 decibels and it said more than 30 mins at 90 decibels causes hearing loss! The price includes an open bar so if you aren't drinking you're paying for other people to drink. My kids got a ton of bites by something in the water, as did other passengers, so that's something to consider. It didn't seem life threatening but one woman was covered in bites. They do not provide fins for kids- which makes no sense because they will take your money for the kids and kids need fins to keep up with the group. The life jackets are also not fitted for kids so that makes it harder for them to swim with this massive thing floating around them. The activities were fine - snorkeling in the islands was pretty and the mahujitas beach was fun but dirty - filled with wrappers and trash. It would be so easy to clean up and I'm not sure why no one does. Basically only go on this if you don't mind being herded around and want a party atmosphere that kind of drags on. Definitely not suitable for families. Also the start time is ridiculous. They tell you 8am but we got an email to be at the venue at 645am! But nothing happened until 730. That's a little rough for that time in the morning. We had intended to go zip lining with this company but after the islands tour we opted to go on our own and it was more fun and mellower.

Not Worth the Money - Went with my friend and overall it cost closer to $220 Canadian each when we bought all the 2 x Port Fees and the additional extra tours. Basically got taken out and be floating near a pretty boring rock island and given a small breakfast option the equivalent of aeroplane food size. Lunch on board was made by a guy who wasn’t wearing gloves scooping the ceviche up in his hands. Life jackets were all broken and looked over 20 years old. I kept waiting for the money we paid to be worth it and they kept asking for more money to do mini trips. They take 100 people out earning $20k each day. The open bar is only open in the afternoon when they take you back and they don’t feed you lunch until 3PM so take your own snacks on board because they charge you MORE to buy theirs on board. Don’t bother. Pissed off that our hotel recommended this tour. Would have rather used the money to do a really bougie lunch somewhere fancy. Or go on a smaller boat without 100 people on board so you’re not waiting 5 hours for people to be done with the mini trips to the island.
