Good value if you avoid the traps - Don’t be fooled by the cheap price. It is a great trip if you come prepared and don’t fall for the extras. Some things to note: bring a towel, shoes, sunscreen, and bug spray. Otherwise they’ll try to convince you to buy that stuff at the port stores which have ridiculous prices, even for PV. I found the guide spoke three sentences of Spanish then threw in a sentence of English. So, you’ll likely end up a bit confused if you’re an English speaker. Most of the guides barely understand English. But, just follow the crowd. They’ll try to take a cute family photo of you before you get on the boat. Then they’ll try to sell it to you when you are on the way back. Just say no. They aren’t pushy about selling at least. Los Arcos you are limited to 20 minutes and you’ll be snorkeling with a life jacket, which is pretty standard for a large group of people who don’t have to demonstrate any ability to swim. On the boat they’ll try to convince you that the hike to the waterfall at Quimixto is ten miles long, uphill both ways. So, they recommend you get a quad ride or a mule ride for 600 pesos each. Just walk. It’s actually only 15 minutes to walk. If you thought you were going to get to Las Animas and kayak you need to know that you either go to Quimixto on the water taxi or get off at Las Animas and hang out on the beach. So, you’ll need to choose. It’s not really a three places in one day tour. However, if you go to Quimixto you do come back to Las Animas for lunch on the way home. Going to Quimixto you have to buy a minimum 40 peso water bottle to get close to the waterfall as the bridge is part of the restaurant patio. This is per person. If you want to swim, you pay. Restaurant is good, just overpriced but it’s also in a harder to access location. The boat ride is loud! Music is playing the entire time quite loudly. Don’t sit up top if you’re prone to sea sickness. They do have an open bar. Overall, a good valued tour if you come prepared. Also, be careful for people selling you stuff at Animas or trying to sell you a picture with an iguana they put in your lap without asking. No gracias.

Fun time had by all - Fun trip overall- The meals provided were better than expected and the open bar was great along with the staff on the boat, the hike and swim to Quimixto was awesome, minus when you get there, there is a restaurant at the entrance of the waterfall pool and they expect you to buy food or drink if you want to sit, enter the pool there or leave items there while you swim. we had a great time on this tour. The snorkeling was very disapointing as we only had about 25 minutes in the water and the visibility was terrible, i'd keep that in mind if your main reason was to snorkel and see many cool things under the water, probably not going to happen. An earlier in the morning start on this tour would be nice as the water visibility would likely be better

Not a Snorkling Cruise.... - Boat and staff were great, but only 30 min or so of snorkling?? Was really disappointing. Plus if you go to the beach after snorkling, zero paddle boards...one kayak with no paddle...but if you want to spend more money they have other activities. Definiely NOT a snorkling cruise.

Not what advertised - The only true activity is the snorkeling. Ot was nice to do something different but seemed rushed. Aside from that there was no paddle boarding or kayaking. After the snorkeling in Los arco they take you to animas and droop you off at the island for 4 hrs. Every activity was an additional charge. I spoke to the tour guide is said everything we were asking about was puffed up by Viator and they were not responsible for Viatos advertising.

Not worth it at all - Do not go on this excursion for the snorkling.... and if you'd like to see it's destinations it is much cheaper to take a bus to Boca then a water taxi. Also, if you do go bring lots of cash.

Vallarta Adventures had better excursions - Snorkeling was only 30 minutes. Those that didn't want to snorkel had to wait for the snorkelers to finish. I went thru the same excursion with Vallarta Adventures and they had kayaks available in the calm waters while the snorkelers were in the same patch of water. Vallarta Adventures also cruised around the islands showing the blue-footed boobies bird and coves of the area. When we docked on the beach, everyone waited for lunch, no kayaks because water was too "rough", other activities costed extra. It was basically a boat ride to a beach village, eat lunch.....I could of stayed at my resort for that.

DO NOT GO ON THIS TOUR - I would not recommend this tour. I went with my boyfriend and we were very disappointed. The snorkeling was only for maybe 15 minutes and the snorkels they provided they dont sanitize after use. While snorkeling we saw only a few fish because the water was too deep and murky. After we got back on the boat, a man had a heart attack and died because there was no staff who properly knew how to handle the situation. Once we got to Las Animas beach There was NO paddleboards or kayaks included like they advertised and they said if you went to the waterfall, there is a chance you would get left behind if you didnt make it back in time, so no one went. There were activities such as parasailing and jet skis that came at an additional cost. We had to wait 2 hours to eat a small meal. So if you were hungry you had to pay to order food and drinks. They said we would be on the beach for 2 hours but it was 3 hours. On the way back they give you lots of booze to make up for the disappointment. Every seat on the boat was occupied so there was no room to move around. The workers only spoke spanish and very broken english, so it was very hard to understand what was going on or how to properly use the toilets haha they got very gross very quickly. Las animas beach was beutiful but not having anything to do for 3 hours unless you want to pay, was not worth it. Again, i would not recommend this tour. There are plenty of other tours that would probably be way better.

Not Recommended - This was not for travelling tourists but more for locals tourists. There was a lack of communication so we weren't sure what we were doing and the staff were not very friendly/helpful when asked. Also, it's not advertised correctly. You only do 1 snorkel place for 1/2 hour then you travel for sometime on the boat to to a beach where you have to pay for your drinks. The worst part was getting from the boat to the beach via outdoor motor boat and then jump from the boat into the waves/onto the beach. Worse try to getting back on it to come back to the boat. Plus it took about an hour to overload and onload, very boring. Did not enjoy at all.
