Please read! - Imaginary kayaks, imaginary paddle boards and hiking trails! Not a buffet breakfast, Itty bitty lunch, rude "tour" guide! People who did get to snorkle were only able to do so for 15 minutes as the boat left late, and was even later getting back (around 8pm). This was supposed to start at 9 and last 8 hours. Major tourist scam. Did 5 stars to see if I can help someone from wasting a day of vacation.

Loved it, very good tour:) - Before buying I read all the reviews. As always there are good and bad. I in particular got a completely good tour. The activities mentioned are correct and good. The snorkeling in the Arches I loved as much as the food they give on the beach. What I paid for the tour is worth 1000%. I would forget the other opinions.

Its a great time. saw... - Its a great time. saw whales and stingrays. the snorkeling sucked though only there like 20 minutes, no guide, water is super murky. they said that's because of the cold water right now which is also why there is whales all over the place. the waterfall is nice, make sure you take cash for any activities. Definitely pay the 30 per person to get the at guide ride to the waterfall. horses take forever and walking would be ridiculous. at took 10 min to get up there horses maybe 25min and walking people were taking like 45 minutes and out of breath. drinks were good. food was good and pretty light. the staff is great. they struggle with undecisive tourists. and then people complain they take long for pickups but that's because other tourists stay behind

Good value if you avoid the traps - Don’t be fooled by the cheap price. It is a great trip if you come prepared and don’t fall for the extras. Some things to note: bring a towel, shoes, sunscreen, and bug spray. Otherwise they’ll try to convince you to buy that stuff at the port stores which have ridiculous prices, even for PV. I found the guide spoke three sentences of Spanish then threw in a sentence of English. So, you’ll likely end up a bit confused if you’re an English speaker. Most of the guides barely understand English. But, just follow the crowd. They’ll try to take a cute family photo of you before you get on the boat. Then they’ll try to sell it to you when you are on the way back. Just say no. They aren’t pushy about selling at least. Los Arcos you are limited to 20 minutes and you’ll be snorkeling with a life jacket, which is pretty standard for a large group of people who don’t have to demonstrate any ability to swim. On the boat they’ll try to convince you that the hike to the waterfall at Quimixto is ten miles long, uphill both ways. So, they recommend you get a quad ride or a mule ride for 600 pesos each. Just walk. It’s actually only 15 minutes to walk. If you thought you were going to get to Las Animas and kayak you need to know that you either go to Quimixto on the water taxi or get off at Las Animas and hang out on the beach. So, you’ll need to choose. It’s not really a three places in one day tour. However, if you go to Quimixto you do come back to Las Animas for lunch on the way home. Going to Quimixto you have to buy a minimum 40 peso water bottle to get close to the waterfall as the bridge is part of the restaurant patio. This is per person. If you want to swim, you pay. Restaurant is good, just overpriced but it’s also in a harder to access location. The boat ride is loud! Music is playing the entire time quite loudly. Don’t sit up top if you’re prone to sea sickness. They do have an open bar. Overall, a good valued tour if you come prepared. Also, be careful for people selling you stuff at Animas or trying to sell you a picture with an iguana they put in your lap without asking. No gracias.

Pretty beaches but no snorkeling… - We had high hopes for this tour but it was disappointing. There was a tremendous amount of waiting around, no snorkeling, limited food and everything was an add on. The trip arrived back to port 2.5 hours late. The beaches are pretty and the sailing was nice.

Not a Snorkling Cruise.... - Boat and staff were great, but only 30 min or so of snorkling?? Was really disappointing. Plus if you go to the beach after snorkling, zero paddle boards...one kayak with no paddle...but if you want to spend more money they have other activities. Definiely NOT a snorkling cruise.

Reality - Be advised, you will get sea sick! And the complimentary lunch is not great so prepare yourself to eat something different or elsewhere.

Could not pay me to do this again - Most of the time, you're stuck on a very old boat that doesn't go over 8mph and limits your time at los animas. We were told we would go to the waterfall and then to the beach, but on board, you had to pick. The snorkeling is only for those who are avid swimmers as the current is very strong and there's so many people all running into each other. The falls were extremely disappointing we have better falls in Missouri and the walk to and from is not great, get transportation for that. It was very taxing. Honestly you could offer me $1000 us dollars to go and I would say keep it, no way will I ever do this cruise again, never ever. It was awful. Also while you're stuck on this old rickety boat for 5-6 hours of this trip, the crew screams into the microphones the ENTIRE TIME! Top of their lungs screaming. Do not do this tour unless that's your scene.
