Still dreaming of that mole.... - Absolutely fantastic! Instructor had a fabulous, dry sense of humor but was clearly passionate about cooking an AUTHENTIC Mole! He took his time explaining all the ingredients and what to look for while shopping at the market, and shared lots of tips and tricks while we were cooking. Our group was small so we all get the opportunity, to chop and grind our way to an AMAZING mole dish. Soooooo good!!!!

I loved this Mole class so much I've taken it twice!!! - I loved this Mole class so much I've taken it twice!!! I would easily take it again! You will visit the local markets, butchers, and a tortilla factory to learn about the food history in Puerto Vallarta and throughout Mexico before going back to the Museo for a cooking class that will delight the senses. The class begins around 10:30a and ends around 1:30p. You will eat the best Mole dish of your entire life at the end, you'll leave with a Jar of mole to take home THAT YOU MUST CHECK IN YOUR BAGGAGE OR SHIP HOME. DO NOT CARRY ON.

Delicious and down to earth! - Very well put together and overall mellow learning experience! Mole is a complicated dish that Mouan guided us through with ease. The market trip was a sweet way to gain close up knowledge of how food fits into Puerto Vallarta's culture and daily life, and Mouan has a lot of firsthand experience and smart thoughts to share -- thank you for a fulfilling day, Mouan!

Mole Poblano class was one of the best experiences we’ve had in Puerto Vallarta - Our guide, Zoar, was very familiar with the area, and took us to a Mexican market to pick out all of our recipe ingredients. This was such a fun time and really added to the authentic mole making experience. When we returned, we learned how to use each ingredient to prepare the best Mole we have ever had! She was able to accommodate my food allergies, so our Mole was made gluten free. The class included our finished product Mole Poblano con Pollo for lunch. I highly recommend this class for its educational value and authentic Mexican cooking.

Zoar was an excellent host; she was very patient, informative, and fun. Definitely a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

Excellent market & cooking Experience! - EXCELLENT! The market experience was a wonderful surprise; we learned how to select the correct ingredients (& the correct amount of ripeness or correct amount of dryness, for the peppers). We also stopped at a small Tortilla factory to pick up a stack of freshly made tortillas. The preparation and cooking instructions were friendly/engaging. The prep and cooking took about 2.5 hours. We start about 10:30 AM & finished up around 2:30 PM. The mole was the best I have ever had! Hi recommend this class!

Great instructor, great food, great view! - Zoar was an incredible instructor. The visit to the market was so fun and the food prep was very educational. The final product was delicious, and we got to bring two jars home! One of the nicest views of any cooking class i have taken; overlooking the Malecòn. Beautiful!
