Amazing Adventure in the Mountains! - Amazing adventure experiencing Mexican culture and traditions! Very well run and organized by Erik. Safe driving by Cora to and from! Lovely, large, air conditioned bus to get us safety to our destinations. The school performance was great! The kids worked so hard to share their skills. Then the festival began! So much to do, see and try! Delicious Mexican fair foods and fun! The rodeo was so much fun !! So many skills demonstrated! Finally, the dinner and show were so well run, staffed and the food was delicious! Can’t wait to come back!! HIGHLY recommend! Thanks so amazing memories to have for a lifetime!

A Variety of Mexico Rural Life - This was a very good variety of Mexico. First we were picked up at our hotel and Juan J was our guide. He was very humorous and told us a lot about the surroundings.
First we saw a school, then Mexican Fair, rodeo, dinner and show.
We were gone 6 1/2 hours.

You have to do this activity - Didn’t know what to expect, and was very pleasantly surprised. When we arrived in the mountains, there were a few activities going on, music and treats to enjoy and of course tequila and margaritas. Then we attended a Mexican rodeo. A beautiful display of horses, donkeys and their riders who were very talented and dressed in beautiful costumes. The audience participated in a few games. We laughed a lot. Supper was great, I believe authentic Mexican food. The entertainment after supper was wonderful. Mexican musicians, singers and dancers. I felt it was the most authentic entertainment we enjoyed during our stay.

Best event hands down! - My favourite excursion by far!! I’ve been going to PV for years and have done many excursions and this one was my fav. It was neat to see the culture difference in their rodeo verses my Canadian rodeos. The carnival games were lots of fun. Coronas, appetizers, supper was awesome! Rodeo performance was great, my husband even involuntarily got drug into one of the rodeo acts, haha it was a blast! During supper they had live entertainment, dancing horses, Mexican dancers etc. highly recommend this excursion for families and couples! 5️⃣⭐️

Amazing dinner show in the majestic MOUNTAINS - Fiesta in the Mountains is a must, the bus ride is a bit long but worth the wait. As soon as you get off the bus you are handed a drink by the lovely dressed Mexican ladies. The dinner show was fantastic with a Mariachi band. The dancing, the atmosphere & most of all the amazing delicious dinner in the mountains made for a perfect evening. This Fiesta is only offered on Tuesdays so book it as soon as you can!

A must do excursion in Puerto Vallarta! - The bus ride from Puerto Vallarta set the stage for this evening of of fun and culture. You leave the bustle of a tourist beach city and enter the culture of the Jalisco mountains. This trip was nothing but fun. Full of enthusiastic performers and traditions that felt true to the event. The surprisingly enjoyable fair games, the traditional Street food (freshly fried churros and plantains) the super cold beer from the comedic donkey herder. The team building and rodeo antics, with well trained horses and riders segued seamlessly into the BBQ taco dinner with the traditional band, singers and incredible dancing people and horse!
The only event that seemed a bit off roping demonstration. The professional roper was great but the horse seemed unhappy.
I highly recommend this experience. We expected an adequate evening and instead got an evening that enchanted. Go. And throw yourself into this fiesta You won't regret it . Oh and a shout out to our bus driver. He went out of his way to make sure we all got home safely

Jalisco Life - Excellent experience. Tequila sample, Mexican snacks, games, a fun rodeo, excellent supper, very good Mariachi band and entertainment following supper. The local communities of the area asked Sunwing to contribute the fees to the local community and Canopy River enterprises to help improve schools and local businesses. If you want to learn about local culture from local people this is your event.

A dive into Mexican culture - A proper dive into traditional Mexican culture. The traditional dress, food, music & drinks were all excellent. I was a bit uncomfortable with the way the animals were treated at one point, as the horse looked visibly stressed when being lasso'd for our entertainment. Apart from that a fun night. Remember bug repellent!

Need to go back a few years when the quality was much better. - Negatives- driver was late picking us up from the office.. arrived to a packed area had NO time to enjoy the food or games. They need to get you there on time ! Felt cramped and rushed.!!The rodeo was a bunch of kids jumping in gunny sacks, and really not authentic… a small amount of roping. No clowns . Food queuing was long and slow.
The saving grace was the mariachi band. No fireworks anymore.
