Best Way to Start Our Trip in Puerto Vallarta - We did the taco tour with Kevin in Puerto Vallarta, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Kevin was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to talk to. He explained what we were eating, gave us some of the history behind each stop, and made the whole experience feel personal and authentic. The tour took us to five different taco spots, each with its own unique style and flavors, and we finished with a dessert. Everything we tried was delicious, including dishes I normally wouldn’t have thought to order on my own. Kevin made it easy to step out of my comfort zone, and I loved everything I had. I also really appreciated the agua frescas at several of the stops—each one was so refreshing and added something special to the experience (the passion fruit one was my favorite). At one spot, we even got to see fresh tortillas being made right in front of us. Every stop also had a variety of sauces to customize your tacos, which made things even more fun. One thing worth mentioning for travelers: both my partner and I had absolutely no issues with food safety. Everything was super fresh, carefully prepared, and we didn’t have a single tummy problem afterwards. I know that’s something a lot of people worry about, but I can confidently say the whole experience felt safe and top-notch. Kevin even gave us a great birria recommendation for later in our trip. Doing this tour early on really set us up for the rest of our vacation—we now know several local spots we’ll definitely be going back to. It was the perfect way to start our trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Thank you Gustavo! - Wow! Gustavo was absolutely fantastic. He was so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. You could sense the pride he feels for PV! I loved every minute of the tour … and oh.. the food was spectacular. Every stop was a delicious and fun experience. Gustavo is THE best and we will see the city with him again for sure!

Seize the day - The whole food tour was amazing! Despite it just being the three of us, the friendly conversation and food was devine. This being our first time in puerto Vallarta, I do have to say we got to experience the culture and understand more about the people of the town. Kevin was amazing and would definitely do another tour with him again. Since being the only Kevin in the company i would only do it with him. Even the food was a lot! Every dish was authentic and mouth watering. Especially the tacos al pastor. We even waved down a truck to get the all so rare tamales! Five stars to Kevin the MVP of our whole trip.

Dining delight - This was such a fun filled evening, made all the more amazing by our host Alberto. We enjoyed all the Tacos and Aqua frescia tastings. Each venue was unique and all the different tacos were delish. The ice cream was outstanding. Thank you for a great evening Alberto.

Tacos after dark - Our tour guide’s name was Kevin and he did a wonderful job. Food was excellent. He provided good information and walking distances were reasonable. Would recommend again.

You can't go wrong with this one. - This one is a good one. Make sure you go hungry and try some of the different sauces on the tacos. Each is served with a verity of flavored waters. You will learn so much about the taco stands and the family history that runs them. You end at the ice cream shop where you have to decide on over 50 some flavors to enjoy.

Taco Tour after Dark - I’ve done the taco tour a few times now, and it just keeps getting better each time! Every tour has introduced me to new tacos and hidden gems I hadn’t tried before, which makes it such a fun and fresh experience every time. This time around, our guide was Gustavo, and he was truly incredible. He brought the perfect mix of local history, fun stories, and warm energy. You can tell he really cares about what he does and wants everyone to have a great time. He made the whole tour feel easy, welcoming, and so enjoyable. Big thanks to Gustavo for another amazing day of tacos!

Great experience with an amazing local! - This was a very fun food tour. I love that Vallarta has so many amazing food options!! Being able to see and experience the food through locals is something I can NEVER praise enough. Michelle was amazing and so kind and so attentive. A fun overview of some local Puerto Vallarta favourites - This tour was a great introduction to Puerto Vallarta and a fun night out for a solo traveller. It was a chance to learn a little about the local food culture, and try some taco styles and establishments I may not have found on my own. And enjoy the company of other travellers. That we all finished with a different favourite was testiment to the variety and quality.
