Delicious food and wonderful experience - Joana was our tour guide and she was amazing!! All the places she took us to were family owned restaurants with authentic and delicious food. During the tour she talked about the restaurants and the families that owned them and also discussed the history and culture of the neighborhood. The tour is only for 5 people which allows for a more intimate and personal experience.

Birthday Celebration - Silvia was an absolutely amazing tour guide whom brought so much more to this experience than just tasty food. The stories and history complimented the variety of native foods. Tacos La Dieta was our favorite spot. We loved Tacos La Dieta so much after the tour ended. We asked if she could take us back, so we could place an to go order. Silvia has a great personality and highly recommended.

Yummy stops and a fun time - This tour was great. Well organized and easy to follow. The food was really good. And portions were generous. So much so that one of our party ran into a store and bought Tupperware, to carry with us so that we could each have a taste at each stop and not waste the rest of the food that was provided. We enjoyed our "tour" again, that night for dinner!

Feast of food from historic neighborhood - This tour was amazing! We got to sample food from several local family restaurants, plus a churro stand, fruit stand & fruit popsicle/ice cream shop. We saw a tortilla factory and watched a family make tamales. Joana was our awesome guide. She included facts & history about the owners of the restaurants and the area. Word of advice: show up ready to eat A LOT! We were stuffed by the end of the tour. Highly recommended!!!

Tacos & POPS! YUM!! - This was a great FOOFIE tour. I’m not a taco fan. But enjoyed learning a bit of the history & the handmade tostados. Watching the food go from press to stove to your mouthwash a nice touch. Our guide, Al, was knowledgeable & we appreciated the local flair. And felt his love of the local economy.

sad we couldn't complete the tour - Unfortunately I was not well that day and got worse during the tour (nothing about the food made me ill, what i ate was delicious). But Sylvia (Silbia?) our guide was very supportive and helpful. I hate we missed the full tour as she was clearly very knowledgeable.
