Unique and interesting - Trip was a gem. Very relaxed friendly and laid back. We enjoyed the most beautiful beach with friendly locals and fresh seafood on the beach. A freshwater waterfall and attentive guide who explained the history and the local flora. Even the horse guide was entertaining. 5* highly recommend this tour. Thankyou Isaac our guide and the owner Alex.

Quimixed and its charms! - It is a great place to visit, the route to reach the waterfall is simple and what you get in the end is a memorable experience, besides that its inhabitants are very friendly, in particular "Nacho" who is a colorful character, gives even more life and joy to the place, I suggest to support him renting his horses to do the tour and the rest of local businesses considering that tourism is his only livelihood. The guide Issac was very attentive and friendly, he shared a lot of information about the place like its fauna, flora and other curious details. Upon reaching the cool and imposing waterfall, the view is amazing, the fish and vegetation give it a special touch! I would definitely do this tour again!

Hike, Waterfall and a Beer - Isaac is a fantastic guide! Knowledgeable, funny and respectful of the locals and the natural environment we get to experience. The hike is easy with a few climbs on a partially paved trail and takes about 40 minutes. Waterfall area is beautiful and fun. For an extra 300 pesos a person you can request a direct return to Playa de Los Muertos by boat. Highly recommend doing that vs bus ride.

Great times in Quimixto! - Our guide, Rocco, was great! Very kind, fun and informative. We were able to cliff jump at the waterfall - that was our favorite part of the excursion...sooo much fun!

A day of adventure off the beaten path - Cliff jumping was the highlight of the trip and we were appreciative of our guide, Rocco, helping us know where to jump and how to stay safe. Another bit of excitement was the unexpected occurrence of a very angry bull blocking the path back from the waterfall. Locals informed us to stay off the path until it was clear. When we were finally allowed to pass, we didn't see the bull but the locals who were guiding it away from the tourist areas were totally exhausted from the effort of roping and guiding the bull along the dry creek bed up the mountain. Rocco was a terrific guide and we'd highly recommend his tours to friends. He gave us options about how to spend our day of adventure and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

A fantastic tour - A great tour to spend the day. Alex was an incredible guide and very knowledgeable about the place. We took a boat to the town of Quimixto and walked for a while until we reached the waterfall where we stood and swam. Afterwards we returned to the pier and went to eat at a restaurant with a beautiful view, the food is delicious and the service was very good. Thank you Alex for this incredible tour!!

Super recommended and unique! - It was a great experience, the waterfall was amazing and the guide Alex was very professional, always attentive, helpful and made some incredible jumps into the river!! The adventure began when we left by truck to the town of Boca de Tomatlán, took a boat and arrived at Quimixto, a small and picturesque town. We enjoyed the entire walk from the beach to the waterfall (approximately 20 minutes) and while there we refreshed ourselves with some good drinks. The WATERFALL leaves you speechless, simply unforgettable and if you feel like swimming and taking incredible photos you are in the right place! In the end Alex took us to eat delicious seafood at a restaurant in another town (Las Ánimas), we took the boat back to Boca de Tomatlán and finished the trip. Many thanks to Alex and all the people who gave us their attention and service, without a doubt we will do this and more experiences with them again!!

Alex was an amazing friend and guide! - The boat ride to the town of Quimixto was great, the views we had and feeling the sea breeze in the morning was the best on this tour. The hike was through a very cool area, a mix of a small town and the jungle. Alex shared some information about the place with us and we talked with him about many things, he is a great guy, very friendly and helpful. It wasn't difficult to get to the waterfall but it was refreshing to swim there after walking. We had some drinks to help the townspeople in a small place in front of the waterfall, which is their only livelihood. We finished with a delicious seafood lunch at a nice restaurant on a beautiful beach it was a great way to end the day. I highly recommend this tour! It's fun and you get to know the south of Puerto Vallarta. Thanks Alex!! I hope to return.

NIce hike and waterfall - The hike was nice. The only down side was sharing the path with the atvs. The waterfall was nice and refreshing, after hiking on a warm humid day. The lunch on the way back was delicous and you couldn't beat the view from the restaurant.
