• Boca de Tomatlán - Boca de Tomatlán is a charming village located in the southern part of Puerto Vallarta. This is where the tour begins. The hike covers approximately 3.5 kilometers in total. The adventure starts with a 15-minute walk along the road until reaching the river. Once at the river, the hike continues with breathtaking views, occasionally jumping on rocks. The journey includes a 1.5-hour walk along the river, leading to the De La Sierra Madre Occidental waterfall. Participants will experience the natural beauty of the jungle, feeling a unique connection with nature. The hike offers stunning mountain views and abundant wildlife, providing a perfect opportunity for bird watching. There will be a chance to swim in the waterfall and enjoy a snack. After enjoying the waterfall, the group will walk back to the bus stop for transportation back to Puerto Vallarta. The return walk to the bus stop takes 1.5 hours, and the experience concludes at the original meeting point.
