Completely exceeded our expectations! - Wow is all I can say!!! We booked the tour the evening before. I read all of the reviews so I had a good idea of what to expect. We stayed at the Marriott and took a taxi where we were greeted by Christian and Mario. Christian was our guide and Mario was the photographer otherwise known as paparazzi or Cuba. Both made the trip so much fun!!! Their English was very good and they both really added a personal touch to the trip. We had a blast! Check in was very smooth. You do need to show ID so don’t forget to bring your drivers license. You are provided soft drinks and waters throughout the tour. These are complimentary. I would highly recommend wearing gym shoes. There will be some walking on cobblestone streets. I would also highly recommend bringing cash. The first stop is an overlook of lovers rock for a photo opportunity. There are several street vendors selling souvenirs. Our next stop was at the botanical gardens. We had an hour of free time to do as much walking or as little as we wanted. I highly recommend looking around. The gardens are very beautiful. They do have a restaurant I would recommend going to the top and having a cocktail and taking in the view. Our next stop was tequila tasting. That was so much fun! I think we tried nine different types of tequilas. We ended up buying a bottle and it was US$66. Our next stop was lunch. Lunch is included, and you have a choice of four different meals. I had the chicken fajitas and my husband had the quesadillas. Both were outstanding! Lunch is on a beach and has a great view. FYI, we had to park a few blocks away from where the restaurant on the beach was. Again, you definitely need your gym shoes. From lunch we boarded our boat. We were on a very small group of only two couples and neither of us were interested in snorkeling. FYI, the water is very cold. You’re not allowed to wear shoes on the boat so we had to take off our shoes and go barefoot. They offered to watch our belongings, but I still recommend bringing a beach bag and taking them with you. The view was spectacular from the boat. The crew threw some food into the water so we got to see lots of colorful fish. We were so lucky we got to see three whales. Our boat followed the whales so we were able to see them at a distance, but still felt like we were very close. This was amazing!!! All in all this definitely gets a 10 out of 10 stars! They only do one tour a day and we highly recommend it. We tipped Mario and Christian at the end of the tour and they earned every penny of it. Christian even walked us to the street and hailed a taxi for us.

Don't miss Sun Buggy Tours!! - We recently had the amazing experience of a day's adventure with Sun Buggy Tours in Puerto Vallarta. It was such a great, fun time and I recommend it for anyone wanting to experience driving a sun buggy, exploring the Botanical Gardens, a tequila tasting and snorkeling - lunch is included as well. The owners are wonderful and everything was well planned. Getting the many pictures at the end was a definite bonus!!

SUPER FUN! - Sunbuggy is a fun way to see PV. I was a passenger princess and enjoyed the sights! The drive to the botanical garden was especially beautiful. The tequila tasting was super fun and the stop at Mismaloya was nice, but quick. The cars are old VW bugs and are manuals. Make sure your driver is pretty good at driving a stick shift. Cars have nice stereo systems with Bluetooth. Chris and team make this trip a super fun day.

So fun and covers a lot! - This was a really fun tour that covered a lot of different things we were interested in. We were very fortunate that it was only our group of 4 on the day we went. We started our in PV picking our own Buggy. We drove out of town, stopped at a little market area with a great photo op did a little shopping then went to the Botanical Gardens. They were beautiful! We were given time on our own to explore there. There was also a great bar and gift shop there. Next we traveled down the road and did tequila tasting. It was a small family owned place and the presentation and tastings (several) were really really good. Then we had a delicious lunch on the beach followed by about an hour long boat ride through Los Arcos. We saw lots of beautiful fish but chose not to snorkel. If that's your thing, they provide all the equipment needed. Mr. Cuba took pictured all along the way which they sent to us. Unlike most tours I've been on, the photos were a part of the initial cost and not an added cost. We got a lot of photos but they really weren't great. But the overall excursion as AMAZING and diverse. I highly recommend going on it.

We are bringing our entire family next time! - Christian and his team are amazing! From the very beginning, you feel very welcomed. They let you pick out the Buggy you want, that was awesome. I am 55 years old and I felt like I was 16 again! Driving these cars on the open road, my wife and daughter loved it. Then to cap it off, we went snorkeling off some amazing islands. When we got back to our hotel, we were exhausted. But, called friends and family to tell them of our Sun buggy experience! We will be back with more family, it was an unforgettable day!

Must do buggy ride!!! - One of the must do activities in PV. Too much fun driving around into the mountains, botanical garden (just beautiful), lunch at the beach, and snorkeling. Well worth the money for almost a half day fun. The team at Sun Buggy were friendly, professional, and fun and made sure to take care of everyone and made us felt safe all day. Highly recommend it. It was extra fun for me since it's been awhile I drive a stick shift. No worries if you don't know how, a SB member will drive you around.

A must do if you are in PV! - Such a fun way to explore PV. Me and my partner had so much fun with such great hosts, there was stop offs for amazing pictures and breathtaking views. Both of the guides was super welcoming all day and we had so much fun with them both. Driving the cars around PV is super fun and definitely an experience to do if you are in PV! Snorkelling around the sea caves was such a great way to finish if such a fun day.

Best way to see PV! - My husband and I really enjoyed this different way to seeing PV. The buggy is open to the elements and the wind on our faces was perfect for the hot day. The first stop was for a quick picture in front of the arc. Next was the beautiful botanical gardens. The humming birds were everywhere! Last we had a decent lunch on the beach. Some of the group went snorkeling while we lazed around on the beach. The crew really were personable and we truly enjoyed their company.
