Fun in the sun - We had so much fun today on this adventure. The crew were all amazing and helpful. We were able to see several whales and a pod of dolphins. The lunch on board the boat was all fresh and tasted good. Thank you to Captain Fernando and his crew!

Far exceeded expectations! - What a memorable experience. We saw many, many whales. Several breaches from the boys and mommas with their babies. What an experience! We had a wonderful trip with Alvin and Lily! We chose the speed boat tour and highly recommend. It allowed us to get closer than the other boats, and for more agile for positioning as the whales moves. 100% recommend.

Whales everywhere - Fantastic trip with free flowing drinks. The captain ensured we saw lots of whales a truly memorable experience. The boat was a little crowded and as it had picked up at another stop first most of the prime positions were taken but we squeezed in and the Crewe were excellent positioning and manoeuvring the boat so everyone got a great view.

Great experience,... - Great experience, definitely do the speed boat vs the slower boat. Saw about 20 different whales and some dolphins. The guide was very knowledgeable.

Whale Photo Safari - Best trip Ever !!!! 3 hours jetting over the waters of Banderas Bay with close up encounters to the multiple families of whales and dolphins . Highlight was being entertained by a female whale as she “ performed” her tricks of the trade trying to land her male . What a show we had . Our guide Enrique and Captain Cheque were not only fun but so knowledgeable . They knew how to “ read” the waters and the whales and with their precision gave us all a once in a lifetime time experience . Thank You Both !!!! Could not have asked for more 😎😎

Excellent tour - Fantastic tour! It is a smaller boat (so no bathrooms) of 16-20 people so very intimate with whale watching. Enrique was an informative guide who took us to 2 sites. We saw numerous whales, including 2 males breaching and a mom teaching a baby whale how to tail slap. Very cool to hear the whale calls with the microphone in the water. It can be chilly so pants/jacket recommended. Have cash for port fees. We would definitely do this again!

Great experience. Our... - Great experience. Our host , I believe her name was Lilu, did an excellent job educating us on all things whale and dolphin. We saw dozens of whales and hundreds of dolphins! Our boat captain was great too! It’s a speed boat type setup, but was surprisingly a smooth ride. Use the bathroom before the tour starts given there’s no bathroom aboard. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re not a fan of loud speakers and such and a smaller group

Confusing onboarding experience - After getting through the security checkpoint we were instructed to follow a line towards one of the boats. When we got near the boat a person from VA asked me: Boat number? No hi, or welcome... just 'boat number' to which I responded 'I don't know, whale watching experience 8:30am' he then gave me a big sigh and a nod of disapproval and said in a condescending voice: 'get your ticket, read the number'. Got it, B6 was the number. He then said: follow this line. Closer to the boat, everyone was told to remove their shoes, which we did. As we got closer to the boat I was asked again for our boat number, 'B6' we responded. Again another disapproval nod and pointing to the boat further down the pier: 'wrong boat, that one leaving, run'. We started running towards the boat, half way there a guide stops us and says: 'no running in front of me, get back in line'. I responded: 'we were told to run to the boat'. Third disapproval nod and condescending voice again: 'sir get back in line, I am your guide. There is no need to run'. At this point I was already pissed at the experience. Were the whales amazing? Yes! Was the experience amazing? No. As we left the boat, they slowly released the passengers into shore so everyone could pass by the propina hat... to which I nodded with disapproval as well. Next time, I'm choosing another company...

No refund when cancelled reservation!! - I had an opportunity to go whale watching in December. We had made two reservations for our trip and we had to cancel one of the reservations. We contacted Vallarta Adventures before the cancellation period and recieved an email that they had cancelled and would be sending a refund within 20-25 days. I got nothing. I emailed back and they sent another stating 5-7 days. I waited and replied again and got the exact same email. I typically judge a business by how the handle their refunds and returns because if they treat you like that then they don't deserve your business.
