On our Puerto Viejo Food Tour, let our guides show you some of the best food and most scenic locations on our coast. We have really great food here. Each one of these restaurants is in itself a destination. The beauty of our evening is the collective experience and uniqueness of the eclectic tastes the restaurants have to offer.
Indulge in delicious tastings of authentic local cuisine as we wine and dine our way down our coast. We will transport you down to Manzanillo, where we begin our evening.
Sample Argentinian steak chimichurri, Peruvian ceviche, and curried hummus to name a few. Savor Caribbean classics like jerk pork, gallo pinto and a typical casado. Some alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are served along the way.
- Infants accompanying adults will receive food.

Must-do Food Tour - This was the perfect tour for someone looking to explore Puerto Viejo. Lora is an excellent tour guide. She will take care of you. We went to 7 locations around town and even caught a local band playing in the park. I had good drinks and food by the water, and got to enjoy the city like a local. Lora was very knowledgeable about the history as well. If you’re thinking about doing this tour, don’t think, just do it. You will not be disappointed.

The Best Taste of Puerto Viejo, Limon, Costa Rica!!! - To say that we recommend this tour is an understatement! Lora, the tour guide, is a pleasure to spend time with. Her knowledge of the area is vast and her taste in food is impeccable. We chose this tour because we had never visited the Caribbean coast before and wanted to learn as much as we could.
Each stop came with a story, an introduction to restaurant owners and staff, and amazing food. Our first was an Argentinian Steakhouse and what a start! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was delightful. Lora walked off to look for monkeys that lived in the trees nearby. That adventure did not come to pass, but others did.
We look forward to our next visit and new hidden gems.

Yum, a must do - Our host Lora was fantastic. She gave us a little history lesson while driving us to our first stop. The food was spectacular and plenty. We had already been here a week and tried many restaurants. She took us to some out of the way gems we would have never found on our own. We highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed. Wear stretchy pants 😉

Great experience with friends, top notch hosts and amazing food. Must do - From start to finish this was an amazing adventure. Hosts were great, food supreme. I suggest you skip lunch. A must do!!

Delicious and fun evening out. - We were looking for something fun to do and this was great. I love food and trying new cuisine when I travel and I can say that the food on this tour was some of the BEST I have had in Costa Rica. The Jerk chicken on this tour was the in town. I also loved the Chimichurri. I highly recommend this tour.
