Magical Family Vacation in Costa Rica with Travel Tropical Tours! - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Working with Travel Tropical Tours to plan our family trip to Costa Rica from the USA was a phenomenal, stress free experience. We highly recommend their services! From the initial contact through our stay in Costa Rica to our final farewell, Sarah and Greivin were attentive to our needs. We are a family of five, kids 14 y/o and 12 y/o(s). We reached out via e-mail with our basic travel interests and Sarah’s quick response was an eight day itinerary starting in San Jose to four days exploring in La Fortuna to another four days in Manuel Antonio, complete with lodging and some meals. For my fellow planners, Sarah sent a pre-trip packing list and reached out every night with the plan and details for the next day. They were flexible with our additions to our activities, meals and other desired explorations. Our guide and driver, Greivin & David, welcomed us to Costa Rica with kindness, joy and most importantly, safety. In La Fortuna, we explored exhilarating adventures such as zip lining through Arenal Park and the Hanging Bridges to embracing the calmness of floating along the Sarapiqui River on a boat tour, hiking through the Lava Trail and relaxed in the Baldi Hot Springs. Our stay at The Lost Iguana resort was immaculate, quiet and comforting. Our stay in Manual Antonio at Costa Verde was immersed in the rainforest, monkeys and with an ocean view. We enjoyed a coffee & chocolate tour, a private guided hike through the National Park, a quick dip in the Pacific Ocean, private surf lessons and a boat ride in the Mangroves along the Paquita River. We soaked in all of the Costa Rican culture, sun & rain, nature, animals, delicious cuisine and could not have experienced this forever memorable trip with our family without the attention to detail Travel Tropical Tours offered us. The staff at both hotels were polite, welcoming and respectful. The accommodations were clean and spacious. It was hard to leave the Costa Rican paradise our party of five fell in love with. Trip of a lifetime - Travel Tropical Tours made visiting and exploring Costa Rica worry free. They personalized a tour for four adults in our 60’s based on our interests and abilities. All the scheduling details were taken care of and all we needed to do was enjoy ourselves. We didn’t worry about parking, driving, or entry fees. We didn’t fuss over where we should eat, or stay. We had our own driver, David who made us feel so comfortable and provided us with a rocking playlist, dining at authentic Costa Rican sodas, and interesting shopping experiences. Greivin, co-owner of the tour company was our knowledgeable guide and interpreter. Sarah, Greivin’s wife kept in touch with us the entire trip and even made arrangements for our airport shuttle after our stay. Great Vacation in Costa Rica - We just returned from an amazing family vacation in Costa Rica, made possible by Travel Tropical Tours and their wonderful owners, Sarah and Greivin. Our trip was a special occasion - a family reunion of seven people coming together from couple different countries to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s. From the moment we reached out, Sarah worked closely with us to create a tailored itinerary that accommodated everyone’s desires and physical abilities. Her attention to detail was remarkable, requiring only minor adjustments to get to the final plan. Sarah was always available throughout planning stage, immediately answering any questions we had or making suggestions based on our needs. She thoughtfully selected hotels that accommodated our budget and needs combined with unique experiences such as hot springs at Baldi Resort. Each hotel offered its own charm but our favorite was Si Como No in Manuel Antonio for its ocean views and attention to guests. One of the many highlights of working with Travel Tropical Tours was the convenience they provided. We didn’t have to worry about driving or renting a car because we had a dedicated driver and guide to accompany us throughout our trip. We always felt comfortable, safe, and well taken care of, no matter where we went. Our itinerary included a diverse array of tours. Among our favorites were the Ox Cart Cultural Tour, where we had the privilege of spending time with an amazing local family, the thrilling zip-lining adventure, an unforgettable rafting experience, and visits to the stunning Manuel Antonio National Park and Rainmaker Conservation Park. Whenever we needed recommendations for lunch or dinner, Sarah and Greivin always provided a good lists of local restaurants and then handled reservations for us, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. When moving to new accommodations, Greivin personally ensured we checked in without any issues and received the rooms we were supposed to, adding an extra layer of care to our trip. Highly recommend, excellent !!! - Sarah was amazing from beginning all the way to the end. She tailored a fantastic itinerary that was smart and made sense for our four teens. Small things that I wouldn't have thought of was embedded in the itinerary taking into account weather, the right amount of adventure and relaxing . Her choices of accommodations were fantastic. I decided to go with her tour because she made the whole trip seamless. Jeanfred was our personal tour guide and he was great , kind , funny , and took time to show us even along our travel days animals he could scope out from afar, even making sure we had great restaurants that would help our teen with gluten free food . Walter was a fabulous driver , kind always looking out for us, with safe driving and accommodating when we needed a drive to places . Our kids loved this trip and we have many wonderful memories because of this group . I would definitely use them again !!!

Great Adventure - What started as a simple question being answered turned into one of the most amazing vacations for my family. Sarah was quick to answer any of my questions and help put into motion what turned into a great 9-day trip for everyone. The whole process was stress-free making it a wonderful time for everyone. Greivin was there to make sure all the tours got started as planned and made sure we were well taken care of. He had some great recommendations for additional stops, local sodas for some great food, and was always willing to answer our questions. Sarah helped us get all of our activities lined up from zip lining, hanging bridges, a chocolate tour, deep sea fishing, white water rafting, waterfalls, a cooking class and much more all stress-free. Knowing that I also didn't have to worry about driving anywhere made this trip even better. Our driver, David, took good care of us on the road and got us safely everywhere we went. From start to finish, it was a great experience working with Travel Tropical Tours and I would highly recommend them.

Pura Vida from Travel Tropical Tours! - We loved our time with Sarah and Grevin on our tour of Limon! Grevin was extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the rainforest! He spotted sloth, an eyelash pit viper, monkeys galore, and even an anteater. Sarah did an amazing job organizing our tour of eight! Both Sarah and Grevin spoke with pride of their country and were extremely respectful of environment and Costa Rican culture. Our trip was educational and very fun! Thank you Travel Tropical Tours for an unforgettable family vacation in Costa Rica! - Planning was easy, as we only had to let Sarah know when we were in Costa Rica and what we generally wanted to do. With that information, she quickly provided an itinerary from pick-up to drop off. We would spend our first afternoon travelling to Grecia to spend the night before using our next day to get to the Caribbean side where we would spend three nights. We would then transfer to La Fortuna for another three nights before being dropped off at our final destination at an all-inclusive in Guanacaste. Communication was quick via e-mail prior to the trip and a WhatsApp group was created for more direct communication during the trip (WiFi is free in the airport and each hotel). We received a message each evening reminding us what we would need the next day and when we would need to be ready by. We were met at the airport by our guide, Greivin, who is also the co-owner, and our driver David. Greivin was our unofficial family photographer and also our translator, especially valuable for the non-touristy areas we visited. David was great maneuvering the van through the traffic of Costa Rica, finding amazing parking spots, and seemingly appearing out of nowhere whenever it was time to pick us up. Other than meal and bathroom stops, they also put up with our request for picture stops (wind turbines…in Costa Rica???!!!), rambutan stands, and a Churchill dessert. Greivin was our private guide leading us through Cahuita National Park, the Gandoca Nature Reserve, and Tenorio Volcano National Park/Rio Celeste. He pointed out wildlife and hauled along a telescope for close up views and a laser pointer to make sure we were looking at the right spots. While our pace was dictated by an 8-year-old, we never felt rushed, taking as many breaks as his little legs needed. Other activities they had planned for us included more touristy places like the Jaguar Rescue Center, a horseback ride through a trail and along a beach, Sky Adventures tram and ziplining, Baldi Hot Springs, and Mistico Park hanging bridges. All reservations were made on their end so Greivin would check us in and tell us where to go from there. It was definitely a slower time of the year as each location had the capacity for many more people, but there were no complaints from us! They were also very flexible with our plans. Since we were passing through Grecia where there would be a farmer’s market the next morning (only twice a week), we asked if we could go see what it was like and they were so accommodating with Sarah even meeting us there to help us buy fresh fruit from their favorite vendor. We had an empty afternoon on the Caribbean side and asked if we could do a chocolate tour – Sarah looked into it and found one for us the next day that we had a great time at, even though they hadn’t much experience with chocolate tours in that area! Travel Tropical Tours even went the extra mile trying to track down a stuffed animal we accidentally left at one hotel and have it sent to final location before we left the country. Unfortunately, it was the weekend and things didn’t work out, but their efforts would not go unappreciated. I would definitely recommend Travel Tropical Tours if you are planning to a vacation to Costa Rica. They took away a lot of stress and effort that goes into travelling. We did not have to worry about looking into accommodations or activities, driving, navigating, or deciding where to have our next meal. We only had to sit back, relax, and enjoy, which is what a vacation is all about.

From start to end an amazing experience, would highly recommend - This is a long due review as life events came in the way for me since that trip and things have slowly returned to normal. We planned our December travel to Costa Rica in July-August of last year and Sarah with Travel Tropical Tours walked us through from the beginning to the end of the trip. Since it was high season, Sarah correctly pointed out that the priority would be booking the hotels. As she worked with her, she impressed us with her incredibly fast response time. She herself was on the phone with the hotels on our behalf and made the reservations. At no point did she try to push or upsell a place to us. Once the hotels were secured (we stayed at Arenal and then at Manuel Antonio and both the hotels were amazing), Sarah went about preparing a tailor made trip for us. She suggested so many different activities based specifically on our interests (we have two young adults in the family) and then we were able to pick and choose amongst them which she then reserved for us. From the moment we arrived till the moment we were brought back to the airport, our guide Greivin (co-owner) and driver par excellence Miguel were our companions. We could not have asked for a kinder or more competent duo. Greivin speaks fluent English and was very knowledgeable about the country. We had a lot of questions (as we usually do when we travel to a new place) and Greivin patiently answered them all. We are a family of vegetarians (and had them know that ahead of time) and they went out of their way to make sure that we always had good food and great experiences with the excursions. Every single one of the excursions they had arranged from white water rafting in Arenal to surfing on the Manuel Antonio beach were excellent. We have traveled around the world and been to several places with crazy drives and the drive from Arenal to Manuel Antonio area is way up there in precariousness! Miguel always drove safe and had an incredibly steady hand. The van was always clean and there was always cold bottled water in the cooler. And oh my! thanks to Greivin and Miguel's practiced eyes, we saw so many amazing animals and birds that we would have missed otherwise. Greivin accompanied us on hikes and also helped translate in restaurants. There were innumerable ways in which Travel Tropical made our experience the best we could ever have. By the end of our tour, Greivin and Miguel were like family to us. If you are looking for a tailor made experience in Costa Rica that is comfortable and convenient, Travel Tropical is a great fit. When we plan our next visit to Costa Rica, Tropical Travel will be our first call :) Pura vida.
