Highlights
• Kamenjak Peninsula - Cape Kamenjak is a small peninsula measuring 9.5 km in length and 1.5 km in width, with a deeply indented coastline stretching 30 km. The sea here is exceptionally clear and bluish-green, making it one of the most pristine spots at the southernmost tip of Istria. The coastline features a mix of rocky beaches and sandy coves. Despite its relatively small area, Kamenjak is home to a diverse range of 530 plant species, including 20 types of orchids. This area remains untouched by development, with no campsites, hotels, or buildings. Near the bay of Pinizule, ancient dinosaur footprints were discovered in the rock slabs several years ago.
• Dinosaur Footprints - Life on Earth began around 3.8 billion years ago and has since evolved into countless species that continue to fascinate us. Fossil remains in rocks act as a time machine, revealing Earth’s distant past and its unique inhabitants. One such fascinating story is told by the grey-white limestone of Kamenjak, once dominated by magnificent dinosaurs.
• Njive Beach - A beautiful spot located at the southern end of Kamenjak. It’s an ideal place for a swim during the summer, so don’t forget your swimsuit.
• Portic Beach - Mali Portić beach is the only sandy beach on Cape Kamenjak, with sand both on the shore and in the sea. The Portich beach bar offers a variety of cold and hot drinks as well as delicious burgers.
• Vinkuran - Known since Roman times for its natural resources, Vinkuran’s most notable feature is the Cave Romanos quarry, which provided stone for the construction of the Amphitheatre in Pula.
• Punta Kamenjak - On a relatively small surface area of Kamenjak, there exists the diversity of 530 plant species, out of which 20 species belong to the orchid family. Kamenjak is situated in a purely natural environment, there are no campsites, hotels or buildings in here. A bit farther on the way, close to the bay of Pinizule, the ancient dinosaur footprints were discovered in the rock slabs several years ago.

This tour was really nice mountain... -
This tour was really nice mountain bike tour around kamenjak peninsula. Views and the sea colour around are amazing. Parts of the tour are on a trail with stones so I would not recommend it for someone who doesn't have experience with mountain biking. My girlfriend was struggling a bit. Wine tasting made her happy though :
