  • Amphitheatre de Pula - Pula Arena stands as the city’s most significant monument. Constructed in the 1st century AD, it hosted gladiator games and is believed to have accommodated around 20,000 spectators. (Outside visit)

  • The Twin Gates of Pula - Once a grand entrance to the city, these arches now lead to the Archaeological Museum and the castle.

  • Titov Park - Established in the 1950s, this park was one of the city’s key intersections and remains a popular gathering spot, especially for young people in the evenings.

  • Temple Of Augustus - Located just below the central hill, this square has always been the city’s main square. It was the hub of city life in Roman times and continues to serve as the legislative and administrative center today.

  • Danteov trg - This square is named after the Italian poet Dante Alighieri.

  • Arch of the Sergii - Erected in the 1st century by the prominent Sergi family to honor their members, this notable landmark was built in the Corinthian style. Today, the gates and the square are cultural hubs in Pula, hosting numerous theatrical, musical, and other performances.

Must try! - This tour gave me an amazing insight with a local guide, (Myroslava) if i wrote it well :) gave us so many local stories and facts that I was amazed. Then the food was great and it was enough food for the whole dinner just as advertised, i couldnt eat a desert at the end i was to full. All in all great food and great guide would recommend it to solo travelers :)

Good overview of Pula in both food and history - Very good tour, booking was easy, we were met on time at the correct meeting point as arranged. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, a very good overview of Pula, its food and its history. Our second stop on the restaurant tour was a little disappointing from a food point of view, but welcoming all the same. Our guide also gave us lots of good tips for the rest of our stay covering both Pula and the wider region, which was very much appreciated. Also a bonus we were the only group booked so we had a private tour.

Tour yes, food no - We’ve done quite a few food tours, it’s been a great way to get a feel for a place and get local recommendations for great places to eat. This tour failed on food. Turns out the tour was run by a company based in Slovenia who didn’t do their research. The guide was great, a local lad, full of great historical and local info but no more clued up on the local food scene than we were. The guide had only been employed on the day of the tour! and had never done a food tour before. The info he was given was out of date and in accurate. We missed appointments and ran very late, missing our final venue. The food we were offered was very good but we were given no alternative tastings or recommendations. Thankfully the guide and the two Canadians with us, hi Michelle and Paul, were great company. Don’t book this tour.
