Authentic cultural experience - The guides were very accommodating from booking to drop-off. The weather was less than perfect on the day of tour and they messaged early to inform us and even gave us an option to cancel or postpone at no charge. We decided to proceed and the guides took extra precautions for our trip.
The tour was very accommodating to our preferences to see more (or less) of certain parts. The people in the village were very authentic. At no point were we pressured to buy or pay for anything outside of the tour.
We were invited into the home of a local where we chatted about her family. Very hospitable and sincere. Most of the tour price goes back to support village community. Highly recommend.

Water village - High recommend. Tour was absolutely great! Tasting local food and visit Bajau village and see local peoples. Must see that if you visit in KK

Best experience tour in KK - This tour is one of the best in KK. I visited mari mari and kampung gipsi and kampung gipsi hands down is more authentic. It is not made up. The entire scenery is not fabricated at all. We enjoyed our time so much with our guide jayya. The dancing performance and food are very unique. Do not think twice to book this trip! Highly recommended . Thank you travel guide sabah for the best experience

Best bajau tour - Best trip ever. The place itself is educational and beautiful. The dancing performance is unique. The sea is beautifulI have never seen this in another part of the world. Please do not hesitate to visit this place when u visit kk. Ya man.. best trip ever and the tour operator travel guide sabah and the tour guide J and SY are accommodative and explained well of the history of sabah and bajau as whole

Authenticity in Sabah: Kampung Gypsy Water Village - A truly unique experience when visit Kampung Gypsy Water Village. It's a simple but authentic way to experience the Bajau Laut lifestyle. The village is charming and offers a glimpse into a different way of life.

Great! - The tour was amazing. The guide and everyone involved in the village was very caring and friendly and I learnt a lot about the Sea Gipsies in Kota Kinabalu! I fully recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about their unique culture!

Absolute must do! - Our trip to Kampung Gypsie Water Village was an extraordinary experience, filled with welcoming locals, authentic foods and traditional dancing. The local sea gypsies and our guide spoke about their traditions and their way of life both now and how it was in years gone by.
Jay was such a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and so friendly and down to earth. It was like visiting somewhere with a friend.
Our boat driver was also very friendly and careful as he harboured us across the water and back.
We highly recommend this tour.
