- Monthelie - Visit an Independent Winegrower in the hidden gem of Monthelie. Tour their ancient winery and cellars while they explain their winemaking practices. Taste 5 wines from Meursault, Monthelie, and Beaune, including Premier Cru.
- Volnay - Take a break for a relaxing traditional lunch in a local restaurant (not included in the tour price)
- Aloxe-Corton - Visit the Grand Cru vineyards of the Hill of Corton to explore the changes in terroir and landscape to the north of Beaune
- Vosne-Romanee - Travel north through the Côte de Nuits passing through Nuits St Georges to the village of Vosne-Romanée to see the iconic vineyards of Romanée Conti, La Tache and more. Visit an Independent Winegrower to taste 5 wines - Premier and Grand Cru

Wonderful wine tour in Burgundy - My friends and I did a two day tour with Stephen and I couldn't recommend it more. All of the transportation, wine tastings, and tours were arranged for us and Stephen also arranged for lunch and dinner reservations along the way. We loved the wineries that Stephen chose to take us to - the people were friendly and informative and the wine was excellent. This was a wonderful way to experience Burgundy in a short amount of time!

Unique and Spectacular Experience! - Stephen led such an amazing tour for our group. The wineries we visited felt special and like unique experiences we wouldn't have been able to do on our own. He's extremely friendly and well-informed on the wine and the area. I would definitely do a tour with him again!

No empty glasses here! - Our guide was Robert Pygott of Burgundy Discovery, a veteran sommelier and Burgundy expert whose knowledge, expertise, and engaging personality made this tour a fantastic experience. It exceeded all of my lofty expectations. We sampled 18 wines directly at 3 different vigneron, including premier and grand cru! Lunch in Beaune was fabulous, and Robert drove us through numerous famous villages and vineyards, explaining and pointing out interesting aspects along the way. The AC LandRover was comfortable, and water and excellent maps, info and tasting sheets were provided. Altogether I can’t praise and recommend this tour highly enough, well worth the price especially if you’re interested in wine and Burgundy. This tour leaves no stone unturned, and wine glass empty!

Great private tour - We had a great day on a private tour with Stephane. The private tour experience was exceptional, easily one of our favorite days in a 10 day trip to France. Having the guide all to ourselves was very helpful. We had great food at lunch, and it was very interesting to learn about the history of Burgundian wine. Stephane’s life experiences give him some added perspective that my wife and I both found very valuable. We were completely lost the first time we walked into a wine store in Beaune, but after our trip we felt like pros, debating the merits of Grand Crus vs Premiere Crus vs Village wines from the various regions. We highly recommend.

Great experience in Burgundy - Great day with Robert and as others stated. He is a great guide and we enjoyed the experience very much. Having never been to the region, Robert shared a lot of knowledge with us and lined up some great tastings. We opted for the upgraded lunch and glad we did. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn about Burgundy!

The Grand Cru of Burgundy wine tours! - It is not often that I write trip advisor reviews, but I feel sometimes an experience really warrants it. This was one of those times.
A friend and myself had the pleasure of being shown round the region by Joy. Three things struck me throughout the tour. The first was the knowledge and passion that she had for the wine, vines, and area in general. Her knowledge was unmatched. The second was her eagerness to impart her knowledge and excitement onto members of the tour. You could feel her passion for the wine and got the sense that she wanted members of the group to be more informed and passionate about it as well. Last but not least, it was abundantly clear that she had genuine relationships with the farmers and domain owners and staff we met. I got the sense that during their time in Burgundy, Joy and her husband had not just formed business relationships with these individuals, they had become genuine friends. In every place we went, she was recognised and met with smiles, and more often than not, the owner or sommelier would go into the back looking for a bottle of the really good stuff.
With most wine tours, you expect to walk away with a little more knowledge than you had before, but this tour was something a little more special. I walked away feeling as though I had gone through an induction, not just into the wine but into the culture and community of Burgundy itself.
A truly unique experience which I would highly recommend.
P.S the lunch was also excellent!

As good as it gets - Excellent wine - great wineries - exceptional information - all in all a wonderful day in burgundy. We were two couples spending a week in burgundy and wanting a day of wine where we didn't have to drive. Robert was excellent as a guide. He obviously has relationships with the wineries which got us better than expected wines - several premier crus and even a grand cru. All four of us enthusiastically recommend Burgundy Discovery.

Wonderful Burgundy Wine Tour - The tour was entertaining and educational. Joy really did an excellent job explaining Burgundy history and the wines. The lunch we had was exceptional. We highly recommend this company and tour.
