Parque Pinguino Rey - Here we have the option to go and visit the King Penguin Reserve on the way to Lago Deseado or if it doesnt match with their day off we will do it on the way back to Punta Arenas.
The King Penguin Reserve in Tierra del Fuego is an amazing place where more than a hundred of these spectacular birds might be seen in their natural habitat.
Here we have guided tours by our hosts who are lecturers in information about these magnificent species of Penguins as they are all year around leading visitors towards the lookout points in order to respect nature as much as possible. The idea is that they would never expect any human presence to avoid feeling they are being disturbed as they might be incubating their eggs or perhaps there are new chicks in the group.
Inútil Bay - The first views of Bahia Inutil named that way a long time ago, translated would become Useless Bay as the waters of the Strait of Magellan were so shallow more than expected by the navigators coming around these landscapes and actually also has to do with the inmensity of the Bay which does not offer much shelter if the strong winds, typical of the area threat them.
Lago Deseado - In the afternoon for sure, after seeing amazing views of endless pampas, sheep, ranches, sailing in the waters of the Strait of Magellan, enjoying the pristine waters of several lakes in Tierra del Fuego we get to the most spectacular views of Lago Deseado.
