Excellent 👌 👌 👌 - The service from all staff was excellent. The service and treatment of the Coca Cola and Choco Banana guides was exceptional. The treatment of the horse ride group was one of another level.

Buggy Whipped - The Buggy’s were a blast and the rain and mud made it even better! Perfect excursion for a rainy day that keeps you off the beach! If you want to have extra fun, ask for Mr. Coca Cola to be your guide.

Fun experience - Had a great time! Our guide was Daniel, “Coca Cola”. Liked the buggies the best, wish we could go faster but still an amazing time! Would have been great in the rain too!

So fun - These activities were wonderful. We started off driving the buggy-but we upgraded to the Polaris. In the middle of the 2 hour off roading experience we got to refresh ourselves in the blue lagoon. Then we went to the zip line. The people were awesome and comforting.

Fun - not exactly rural jungle, but a great inexpensive half-day excursion close to resorts. - This was a great excursion - a great way to get out of the resort and see some sights at a reasonable price without dedicating an entire 12-hour day. Tip: if you are doing the buggy, BRING YOUR OWN eyewear / goggles, and a bandana or facemask or something to cover your mouth. Otherwise, you will be cleaning dust and dirt out of your mouth and eyes. They sell this stuff there - but the prices are jacked WAY up. Pros: The buggy excursion was fun. I didn't feel like I needed to upgrade to the Polaris 4-wheelers at all. My buggy broke a control arm, but they showed up with a replacement buggy almost right away and didn't charge us. The cenote was nice. The small "village" was a bit hokey - but the coffee and cocoa and cigar tasting was nice, and the shopping was reasonably priced. The staff were fun all over. The ziplines had some impressive views, and the final one splashing into the water was a nice touch. Cons: It felt a bit like the price was artificially low because they have a strict "no cell phones / cameras" policy and they know everyone is going to spend $70+ on their pictures package. The buggy ride wasn't through a jungle. It was through plains. Sparsely populated by trees. Other buggy rides on the island (1.5+ hours away from Cap Cana) are through actual rivers and rainforests - this felt a bit like we were going through a dirt construction site that happened to have some trees. Still fun - because the buggy and off-road driving is kind of the point - but it's underwhelming from a "views" perspective other than the cenote. The stairs to the zip lines weren't all that well maintained. Some of the stairs were cracked or missing pieces; which even though I was strapped in, isn't a confidence builder when you're 100+ feet up in the air.

Unsafe experience - Wow! Where do I start, for the price the service is shameful. When entering I showed my backpack and was told small locker will do for that so I paid $6 dollars. Then went to the locker point created a password then stuffed the bag in the locker and it wouldn't lock. Went to a member of staff, a black member of staff with a beard seemed a bit more experienced than a few others. He walked over with me and told me to take my bag out and locked the locker but if you pull it, it opens (I didn't know this at this point). He didn't care and said you need a big locker. I explained the reception staff recommended this so I don't mind paying the extra. He said no you have used this locker so pay again for larger. I went to the guy on reception and I told him the issue he said I've to pay full price $9 also. Because I used this small one already, so I said but I told you I needed a large locker and you said no a small will do he just brushed it off. So I had to buy another,so I bought another small locker to split contents off the bag and make it $3 cheaper. But tho and behold the first locker was busted, so went to a different guy who was so helpful took me to a manger I guess. He give me a large locker pass and I said I'm owed three dollars he said no you used the first one even tho it's busted and I said because your employee recommended me it. So got my three dollars. Went on the buggies to be fair no freedom just driving behind people trying not to go into the back of them then into very deep pools of water that drench you then to a Dominican culture shop were a guy who said infront of my 15, 13, and 7 year old and other kids his name is big W*lly then went on to say his (you know what is) 6.5. He then went on to say to a blonde child hey blonde if your daddy drinks mama wama or something she'll have 3 more sisters etc (not going to write all the inappropriate crap). Just strange behavior towards kids. After all that it was around 11.15 went for the included lunch with no drinks, and was told if we wait at reception at 1 another tour guide will take our group. Waited about until 12.30 then approached two staff members they didn't speak English. So we went on to the ziplines. Explained we were told we'll have a guide with our tour group ( group A ) yep no English then met another few confused ppl from my group so we just went on the ziplines. So after the buggies and lunch you just follow signs and go your own way. When we went on the very tired dehydrated looking horses (I've rode horses a good few times) they get whipped for going slow so your flying up and down on your saddle while the guide shouts arriba giving the fact I've a 7year old my 7 year olds horse spooked and run up past some horses and banged into the side of the 13 year olds horse and near got injured. This whipping and horses spooking was constant they then took a short cut across a field my 15 year olds horse didn't want to go off the path and near threw her. Honestly pure madness and so dangerous even the horses new you didn't go this way and we had to battle with the ropes to make them go off path across this field my horse near lost footing. They cut at lest ten mins off our journey ( by the way it was just five of us so a small group ) then at the exit we spent a half an hour with a nice young guy looking through photos (very time consuming giving the bus was coming) we took my elderly mother and paid near $100 dollars just to sit at the splash pool. So the young guy showed me the prices for 113 digital photos which get emailed to you, I explained my mother didn't do any activities but they took an entrance photo and four of her at the pool so they asked for 155 dollars the guy didn't speak English so after a wait yep him again the black guy with the beard, I explained my mother didn't take part as the charge for photos doesn't go by the number but how many in the group so he said take the gringo ( I find this term offensive) mama out. I said no we want her photos too, so can I pay the price of 5 persons $135 as she didn't do any activities she's only in 5 he deleted her pics and said $135 I said no there was 113 photos now there's only 108 so he laughed and spoke in Spanish and said something, he blamed it on the young guy and said he's new and added people who are not you (this is pure lies I picked every pic and watched him unpick them). I said no I picked every photo with him then he showed me the number of photos again now it was 93 photos and he and another colleague laughed. I just walked away they lost the company $135 dollars not me but unfortunate as I wanted the photos and he unselected them and it took the young gay 25mins to get them. He done this out of badness he seems no to like whites or gringos as he refers to us. Also photos were missing of the blue lagoon anyway, spoke to an American group of 6 instead of 155 they were been charged 200 dollars they walked out to so bit of scamming going on. If you care about your safety as you've to sign safety waivers and pay for buggie parts if they break apparently I'd avoid this mad place.

Avoid!! Queue and wait all day!! - The trip started bad as they were 30 minutes late picking us up. So we arrived late and proceeded to queue for an hr to get in. So we went on the zip line . It’s good fun but not high at all. Some staff friendly, some miserable! We then had to hang around until 12:00 for the buggy’s. This was frustrating because if we had of known we could have planned to go in the pool . The buggy’s were great fun , and we all enjoyed this. Then at 2:10pm we joined a queue for lunch that was so slow that we didn’t get lunch as we needed to be on the 3pm bus back to the hotel. At this point we were hungry and annoyed. Then at 3pm we proceeded to sit on the bus for 30 minutes waiting for people who were late. 3:30 we set back to the hotel after I moaned to the driver that we had missed lunch to get to the bus at 3pm. So in all 8 hrs door to door . 5 hrs driving, waiting for people and activities , and queuing . 3 hrs of fun. Definitely NOT worth the money or a day out of your holiday ! Avoid this trip .
