Book this trip !!! - We booked this trip at the last minute. We wanted something good for kids. From the minute we got there everything was amazing. One of the best experiences. Most of the people were on the adult only boat so we had the boat to ourself and just one other person. Baby chela was our guide and he was amazing with my 8 year old. Friendly and gave us a great snorkeling experience. We saw so many fish ! We even got to feed them. He showed us how to hold the ball of food tight and let the fish swarm around. My 8 year old loved it !!! Juana are bartender kept us full of fresh drinks the whole time. Ricard the captain let my 8 year old “drive “ the boat. Lisardo was so friendly. This was one of my favorite boat trips. They kept us busy and paid so much attention to us ! We felt like it was our own private trip. They even helped carry the older woman who was on the trip onto the boat ❤️. The lunch they served was fresh and delicious. We had fruit and a mini sandwich for snacks. Seriously one of the best family experiences. Baby Chela snorkeled with my 8 year old the whole time giving him an amazing experience ! Do not hesitate to book this trip. 5 stars all the way ! Thank you so much everyone on the Grandma and Hispaniola. We had an amazing time !

Baby and the rest of the... - Baby and the rest of the crew made this family oriented excursion an amazing and fun-filled experience. If you're looking for something that isn't the typical "booze cruise" but is still super fun, this is it. Lunch from the floating kitchen was also spectacular.

Fun for kids - This was our best best excursion in Punta Cana! The boat was lovely and snorkeling was so fun. We had a 4 year old and a 5 year old and they were able to participate. We highly recommend this experience for families!

Perfect in every way! - The experience was amazing! The whole team was very professional and attentive to everyone's needs. We could see a lot of fish in two different places. The dinner included was excellent and we always had enough to drink. Really to do and do again!

The best family snorkelling trip so we went twice! - Thank you to the friendliest and most welcoming team - Babychela, Ramo, Ricardo, Luis, Juana and Alicia who made our two trips fantastic! Yes, we loved it so much we did again later in our holiday. Superb snorkelling, food delicious, lobster, steak and the best kids meal of burger, nuggets and chips! The open bar was flowing throughout the trip, which we loved 😂We booked the family catamaran and it was just perfect. See you again next time 😘

An incredibly surprising day! - An incredibly surprising day!
We were picked up from Dreams Royal Beach and less than 10 minutes later, we were delivered to the Hispaniola Aquatic Adventures.
Our guide, Baby Chelo, met us in the front of the building, very quickly got us registered and walked us to the beach where a small craft took us about 300 feet offshore and to our catamaran “Grandma.” As my wife, two daughters (12 and 11 years old), and myself were heading to Grandma, Baby Chelo informed us that we had the boat to ourselves! The vessel could easily fit 50 people. We were blown away to have an unexpected private tour. The boat had two levels- a water slide from the second level, multiple bean bag chairs, a Bluetooth sound system that we were able to link our phones to, Wi-Fi, a walk in bathroom, padded benches, and plenty of storage. Our crew consisted of Baby Chelo (Kelvin), Juana (our bartender), the captain and a gentleman introduced to us as the biologist.
We quickly arrived to the first snorkeling site where we were provided with equipment. Baby Chelo led us into deep water where we viewed several species of fish and fed them to bring them closer to us. Many of the fish after right out of our hands! My kids loved being “swarmed” by dozens and dozens of fish. It was like swimming in a stocked aquarium. Very cool. And the kids enjoyed using the water slide as we swam around the boat to enjoy the warm Dominican waters.
Once we reboarded the boat, we cruised to an area where we rafted-up to a floating kitchen and were provided with a delicious lunch. We have been on several snorkeling trips with other tour companies previously; none of them have provided us with anything more than simple finger sandwiches and similar food. The plates of food provided to us today were incredible. Everyone raved about their food.
Once we finished eating, we quickly moved over to a shallow area for swimming and snorkeling. Again, we fed the fish in order to bring them closer to us. In this location, we were able to encounter some new species of fish, including large Angelfish, which were incredible to view up so close.
Once we decided that we were finished snorkeling, we swam close to the boat in chest-deep waters and had drinks from a floating bar. We relaxed here for a while watching horses gallop on the shore and the afternoon sun move over the palm trees of an undeveloped, very lush, protected park. It was quite beautiful.
As our tour ended and we headed back to the marina, the captain searched for sea turtles to show the girls. Before long, we encountered two turtles swimming together on the surface. One turtle appear to “wave” at us with its front flipper before diving under the water, leading the second turtle with it.
We then slowly cruised by a wildlife enclosure where we saw dolphins swimming and large manta rays cruise the sea bottom.
We ended the day back at the Hispaniola Aquatic Adventures building and spent a few minutes purchasing souvenirs from the small stalls where vendors displayed their merchandise.
We had an extremely relaxing and enjoyable day. Baby Chelo and the rest of the Grandma team were incredible; they quickly and with large smiles, met every one of our wants. Juana kept an eye on us and was refreshing our drinks before we reached the bottom of our previous ones.
If you want a louder, more high-energy, dancing and booze cruise- the sister vessel “Grandpa” is available. Grandpa was within sight of Grandma for most of the day and I am sure provides similar activities but caters to more of an adult crowd.
Before booking with Hispaniola Aquatic Adventures, we met with the hotel concierge looking for recommendations. The recommended trips did not appear to be what we wanted so we ventured onto Trip Advisor, scrolled through companies and read many reviews. Hispaniola Aquatic Adventures had a 5 out of 5 rating. After experiencing the day that we had today, I understand why their rating is so high. The day could not have been any better. The crew could not have been any better. The pace and service could not have been any better. Needless to say, my family and I highly recommend Hispaniola Aquatic Adventures. And if you are bringing your family with young/younger children on the trip, you MUST ask to book with Baby Chelo. His personality, kindness, and service was perfect and on our next trip to the Dominican, we will be touring with him again.

A great family friendly excursion. - The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. There's an educational aspect that our teens enjoyed. The staff made everyone feel welcomed and got the kids involved with dancing and helping to preserve the coral. Snorkeling was very fun and the fish food brought hundreds of fish to swim around us. The lunch was surprisingly tasty with significant portions so you won't go hungry. Picky eaters will find something that they like. Definitely bring your own towels and cash for tips. Well worth the money and if we return we would do it again.
