2nd ride just as great as the 1st time!!!! - This is are second time doing the full day tour to Miche beach, we called to book the tour and they accommodated us even though they were in the process of moving to their new location, we met Dave (one of the new owners) and it was nice to see that Joel was still there who reviewed all the hand signals again for the various obstacles' in the road. We went to the gas station first and it was nice to see that they removed at the paint which made the surface slippery. the ride itself was still as exciting as the first time we did it, we enjoyed the first stop for something to drink and got to talk to Dave, he is a super nice guy to talk to and was very concerned that we were having good time so far. The ride through the country side is amazing with all the twists and turns. When we arrived at Miche it was nice to see that it was the same beautiful spot as our previous trip. Lunch was great and both Dave and Joel again asked us if everything was good, it was nice to see that they really care about their customers. The ride back on the highway was great and we stopped again at a gas station for a break before we returned to the shop. Dave and Joel again asked if we enjoyed the trip, not used to that kind of great customer service in Canada. Over all it was a very enjoyable day for me and my wife as we were the only ones doing the tour. As for safety wise I felt safer riding in the Dominican the I used to at home, I'll also mention that my wife felt very comfortable and safe as a passenger even though she never rode as a passenger at home. Dave also mentioned that they had just started to redo all the seats and backrests which will be nice. We got to see the new location which is located in a plaza with several restaurants and a mall within walking distance. If your looking for a great way to see the county I and my wife highly recommend doing this tour, Thanks again to Dave and Joel for the great day!!!!. Mark & Sandy.

Amazing day - We went on an all day tour to Miches. We had two single riders and my wife and I on one bike. Joel and David were our tour guides. Right from the start the top priority was to look after us. The check in and paperwork was simple and easy. The route they took is amazing. Once you leave the Bavaro area they take you a scenic route. Small towns rolling hills and some divided highways. You get to see a lot of really cool things. Joel’s top concern was for our safety at all times ,doing hand signals to let us know of any hazards a head and watching all local traffic. Once at miches we had lunch at a local restaurant. It was a typical Dominican lunch. All of us really enjoyed it. We did miss out on going to the beach and taking pictures due to weather. Then from there we return on the highway back to Bavaro. I would strongly recommend this ride it is a great experience. Thanks to David and Joel for the great experience

Excellent time at Miches Beach - The tour was amazing, only issue was a lot of speed bumps! I would definitely do this tour again! My tour guide was helpful in every way! Please understand I don't remember his name, but he was very helpful and I would definitely take the tour with him again! Jason Brown. Northampton, Pennsylvania 🇺🇸

Fantastic way to see the real DR. - Firstly, hats off to Antonio and his colleague Joel. These guys are warm and friendly and know their stuff. We were put at ease straightaway on arrival. After the formalities I had a quick ride around the car park to familiarise myself with the Dyna Street Bob and then we set off. We were lucky in that we were the only couple (rider/pillion) on the day trip so we had Joel's undivided attention which was great. Riding through town and heading towards the countryside was a bit fraught due to maniac drivers everywhere, particularly on 2 wheels so you need to be on your guard at all times but once out in the open it was a breeze. I liked the way Joel pointed out changes to the road surface, speed humps and other hazards along the way. He is also good at gauging your riding and had mine sussed within about 10 miles or so. He knows his stuff and is very safety conscious which is reassuring and makes for a more relaxed ride. Out in the hills and settled into the way the Harley handles, I really started to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery the island has to offer with Joel allowing a stop halfway for a leg stretch and to take on some water. One thing he can't control is the suicidal wildlife and domestic pets which have a propensity to run out in front of you so something to look out for particularly in the rural villages. There's also the speed humps, everywhere. 2 up riding sees the old girl bottoming out on them. Joel slows you right down in good time and don't be alarmed by the banging and scraping as you pass over them as they have sump protectors fitted. After our jaunt through the hills, we rode to the Coco Loco beach club on Miches beach for some lunch (included in the price). This consisted of some delicious fried chicken, chips and rice in a glorious setting. I did not want to leave! (Just beware: there is a short ride over fine sand to get to the restaurant so be careful of the rear wheel torque). After an hour or so we jumped back on the Dyna and headed back to Dominican Riders via the highway. We had a stop on the way home as poor Joel has a bee fly up his jacket sleeve and sting him. Again, once we hit the outskirts of Bavaro the traffic intensified with all the associated stupidty of drivers/riders who can't or won't see you lugging a heavy bike through the streets, so be careful. I'm convinced there's no such thing as a Highway Code here or and Construction and Use regulations! That said, the 120 mile journey away from the city was memorable and gave myself and my wife a great insight into the beauty of this island, so much so hat I am seriously contemplating returning next year for the big one, the 7 nighter (see their webpage for details). Any negatives? Sure as nothing is perfect. The bikes are getting on a bit. Mine had 93,000kms on the clock, the front tyre would not pass a UK MOT test and the headrace bearings felt loose especially noticeable at low speeds but none of this detracted from a marvellous day out in beautiful countryside. Finally, a huge thank you for our guide Joel whose professionalism and genuine customer care made the adventure that much enjoyable and to Antonio for making the whole process so easy and accessible. I wish you both the very best and look forward to returning soon.
