All Day Tour, Great Experience - We were a party of 5, made the reservations to pick up at 7 am, but the driver told us that we were last group to be picked up and they changed the time to 8:20 am which was better as we get to wake up late and have time for breakfast. The communication was great. Night before the tour, I received messages on WhatsApp from the tour company. We rode a bus that has AC with a small group for an hour or so with pitstop on the way. They let us use the rest room before boarding the speed boat also. Here is the only complain I have that the speed boat was very crowded. But we managed to squeeze in half of my body in those seats. Mind you it be little bumpy, if you feel sea sick you must take something, I saw people throwing up. Before arriving at the final destination (after half an hour or so), they let us swim near this beach for 30 mins. It was a different experience to cool off from the heat and humidity. Our boat was the first few groups to arrive at the Saona Island. Our tour guide Carlos, was our troop leader, he was very helpful assisting the group in each and every steps. Island time was about little less than 2 hours and they provided us a buffet lunch. We enjoyed the authentic DR food with rice, pasta, meat, vegetarian, fruits etc. The beach has huge stones, a water shoe is a must. When we departed, we were put on a speed boat then transferred to a Catamaran (took us longer to arrive at the port, little over an hour or so), a party boat with pretty loud music and dance. They served alcohol, soda and water. Also has a toilet on the boat. Overall a great day out, we didn't feel tired but had an awesome experience. They stop at a gas station for rest room break and you can buy souvenir and snacks. The tour was organized very well and the timing was great too. At first i was hesitant to book this tour since it is far away and all day long, we didn't feel that way. Highly recommend this activity.
