Once we arrived in Bayahibe, we embarked on a motorboat, speedboat, or catamaran. (If the journey is started by boat, we return via the catamaran and vice versa.) Once we arrived in Bayahibe, we embarked on a motorboat, speedboat, or catamaran. (If the journey is started by boat, we return via the catamaran and vice versa.) On the day of the excursion, customers have the freedom to select the type of vessel they prefer - it can be a catamaran, a launch boat or a combination of both. Our journey continues to the stunning natural swimming pool situated 200 to 300 meters off the beach line. With water levels up to the knees or waist, it provides a perfect opportunity to revel in the excellent landscape and weather. As part of the experience, you will need to navigate approximately 800 meters parallel to the beach, between the white sand and a vast coral terrace. This acts as a natural barrier between the pool and open sea, creating this natural marvel. The pool also features a long stretch of clear waters and beautiful starfish- a sight to behold. We’ll spend 40 minutes here for your enjoyment, before proceeding to the serene Saona Island. With its calm ambience, refreshing air, and beautiful palm trees, Saona Island is truly a distinctive beauty. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity, make sure to reserve your spot.

Visit to Paradise - Paradise, yes it exists and the island of Saona is proof of it.
With its crystal clear water beaches this island is an authentic paradise.
With fantastic natural pools you can admit stars in your natural habitat.
We can see turtles in the sea.
Visit the Reservation of turtles rescued from their nests, to preserve the species.
Work done by Pedro without any help from the government.

Once in a lifetime enjoyment - Wonderful experience however, organizers need to plan better. On our way back, a group of tourists were left behind. Tour guide (Manuel) decided to wait for missing group.

Beautiful pictures, of those that remain in memory. Unforgettable experience. Fair price! - This is a tour where the transfer leaves you in Bayahibe, from there you are transferred to a catamaran and goes to Saona. We bought the all inclusive tour and paid around $280.00 for three people. The beautiful Caribbean sea that at this point has a turquoise blue that reminds of Greece and the typical Caribbean cyan green leaves anyone amazed. The only tip I leave here is to inform yourself about the weather conditions so you do not have any kind of frustration on the ride, in addition, enjoy. I'm leaving here some pictures for you to have an idea.

Tour - The tour guide Manuel was great, the island is beautiful and the natural swimming pool was amazing .
However , food was ok. No matter which tour company you purchase from everyone eats at the same Buffett lunch .
The boat ride on the speed boat is very uncomfortable they packed 40 people in the speed boat and catamaran ride was awesome
As we had a lot of room to move around and dance .
Transportation is a hassle , however, to be expected if you don’t pay for the private transport. We were picked up at 7am , waited at a gift shop for over an hour . Another bus came to get us and drove us to the port . I suggest if you are able to, Uber to the meeting point .
Overall it was a great time .

Nice to see - Panorama undoubtedly that could leave king breathless, but disfigured by dozens of boats of various types. Cloudy water and dirty beach as soon as you leave where tourists are stationed.

Tourist trap - waste of time - The bus will drop you off in bayahibe, where you will have the chance to interact with 100s of street salespeople. The boat ride to the island is not a nice boat ride. They pack as many people as they can. You will not be comfortable. The nicest part is the “natural pool” which is just a stop along the way. Too bad this is also the shortest. The crappy boat ride will continue until you reach Saona. The island does have nice parts. You will be able to tell by the nice boats that get there. Unfortunately that’s not where you’ll go. You will arrive at a beach with 100s of other people. They will give you all you can eat low grade food under a shack on tables that are not clean. There will be a dog, that according to the owner, bites. The dog eats the same food you do and close to where you eat. You will have unlimited cheap run and coke with no ice. The beach has sea shells and conchs the size of a small soccer ball. You will not be able to get into the beach because the waves will wash up the shells and hit you feet so hard you will bleed. If you manange the pain and get past walking on all the shells you will be swimming in water no nicer that that at your hotel. Trust me, by this point you will want the tour to be over. But you have a 2hr ride back on a motored catamaran. The catamaran wasn’t too bad either.
Also, don’t fall for the photographers trying to take your pictures while at the natural pool. Just enjoy your time there. I strongly don’t recommend this tour if you’re looking for a nice beach experience. All the beach beds are broken or faded and they are different colors, shapes, material. This is not a nice place or beach club. Is it not like the pictures they show you. Oh, forget about seeing star fish. They will just say “ see those brown spots over there, that’s star fish” while they speed by on the boat.
