Great fishing trip - My wife and I had an awesome half day fishing charter with captain Miguel. We were on our last day of vacation and booked a fishing very spontaneously. The boat Sherlock was beautiful, gear was very nice and fishing was a blast. Miguel was awesome too. He was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. If we're ever in the Dominican republic again we'll definitely plan another fishing with him. Definitely recommend capt Miguel and boat Sherlock.

Private charter - We went our on a 6 hours private fishing tour. Booking was easy. Captain Richard and First Mate Andy were absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be booking with them in the future when we return.

Best trip ever 👍 - Had a fantastic day! Did t think we were goi g to catch anything then out of nowhere we caught a 300 lb blue Marlon, was tremendous 😃 guys on boat looked after us well and we had the best day. Will definitely be back to try and catch something f bigger next time!!🤣🤣

Awesome fishing - My wife and I had an amazing fishing trip from start to finish. We were picked up at our resort in a private vehicle and went out fishing on “gone dog” the water can definitely be rough compared to what we’re used too on the east coast but captain Willy did an amazing job of handling the boat. First mate Eddy was constantly switching baits and moving lines. Together they put us on multiple mahi mahi and it was an awesome day. Looking forward to booking another trip with these guys next time I’m in Dominican Republic. Overall trip was 10/10 and I would highly recommend.

Great quality fishing company - We booked a 6 hour fishing trip as we fancied a bit of fishing to break up the monotony of being in a resort. We were picked up on time by a really friendly driver and he had the best AC of our entire holiday! The boat was great, equipment was really good and in great condition, we didn't see much of the captain as he was above us, but the first mate was friendly, keeping us fed and hydrated. He makes an awesome sandwich! As soon as we set off the rods were down and for the entire trip we probably only had about 6 bites and managed to land 2 fish. The barracuda seem to have a knack for getting off of the hook, but that's fishing! Our first fish was a monster white marlin, our other fish was a little thing, I can't remember what it was, but we still had a great time. It would have been nice to be able to take the smaller fish back to resort for dinner, like had happened on other charters I've been on, but sadly this wasn't offered. That would have made it a 5 star review.

It was ok, great service not great fishing - We didn't catch anything but a bad day. fishing is better than a good day at work. The ride was great though.

Eddy and Will - We were taken deep sea fishing on 6-8 foot swells. We felt completely safe the entire time. We only caught 4 fish but Eddy worked his a$$ off to get the fish on and in the boat. He was a joy to work with. If I go back to Punta Cana, I will definitely be calling Big Marlin again for a great experience!

Great Company - I am only giving this a very good instead of excellent because my kids did not enjoy the rockiness of the boat and being so far from land, but the company was amazing! Our guide Andy was great and they were flexible with us when we wanted to go back early and just swim near the reefs. Everything was on time and easy. We didn’t catch anything, but again we weren’t out for long. I will say that even with small waves - 3 foot it was pretty rocky and everyone was was feeling a bit off. My husband took stuff and he even felt a little off. I would def take something if you are prone to motion sickness at all. We have gone fishing in coasta rica and it did not feel like this at all, apparently the Atlantic is much more of a rolling motion that causes people to not feel well. Over all the company was great and if you are looking for a deep sea fishing experience would highly recommend. As for deep sea fishing, it is not for me haha.

It was cancelled when we showed up - Unfortunately the trip was cancelled when we showed up at boat. Said his motor was messed up. I would have thought he would have found a fellow fisherman or the company would have found us another charter. But nope it was just a sorry it’s cancelled.

Don’t do it…they will cancel on you - We booked our Blue Marlin Fishing tour for 3/4 of a day over a month in advance. Three days before we weee supposed to go out we got a message that they had to cancel do to weather, and asked us to book a half day the following day. When pressing them, and looking at the weather, they were scamming us. The weather was the best that day in the forecast and turned out to be the best. We needed up booking another charter and lo and behold there they were out with six passenger doing two half day trips. I would avoid this company at all costs.
