You may have heard of the renowned “Cancun snorkeling statues.” This tour includes visits to two galleries: “The Blessings” and “Aquarium Family.” The creators of these underwater statues employed an innovative technique and materials that promote coral growth (using pH-neutral cement, allowing coral, seaweed, and algae to thrive). The statues are designed with openings, enabling marine life to inhabit and feed on the coral.
