Fascinating experience! - Yara is a great and authentic guide. She is wonderful with children and also fascinates them with the flora and fauna. She also really sees everything during the tour, so no animal escaped us. Would do it again anytime.

Awesome wildlife afternoon - Wonderful afternoon activity. In our 3rd Costa Rican location, we finally saw sloths! We saw two- and three-toed sloths, howler monkeys, turtles, a toucan, egret, and more. Gorgeous views, and really enjoyed kayaking the river for a chill way to see wildlife. Great activity with kids too.

Choose Yara, trust me! - Yara is a gem! She has the heart of a true nature lover and she’s just as genuine with people. She was responsive soon after the tour was booked and was able to be flexible when my daughter was ill. I felt like the tour was led by a trusted friend, whose knowledge of the natural surroundings of Puerto Viejo was without question. We saw sloths (even a baby!), tropical birds, raptors, turtles, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, and oh, so much greenery! If you’re still deciding on a tour, CHOOSE YARA! You won’t regret it. We had an amazing time! She is a great guide…full of passion, friendliness, and pure joy of nature ❤️ I feel blessed to have met her.

Wonderful tour! - A wonderful tour! Yara is a sweet and enthusiastic woman who tells many interesting things about nature, culture and the country, and the nature is incredibly beautiful. Recommended!

Pura vida in a kayak - We started the tour with a lovely walkabout on the beachside and up to the cliffs, where Yara spotted multiple sloths for us. That way we also got to see a more private beach behind the rock - and learn about jose hansel and the indigenous and black histories respectively When we entered the kayak after we got away from beach and bridge it was mostly us 3 and the jungle (oh and countless and various animals - you’ll have to find out yourself;)) It was so relaxing and nice, Yara is an excellent guide and host to pura vida and a lovely person altogether Highly recommended!

Great tour, wonderful guide! - Yara was an amazing tour guide and knew where to find all the animals. She is extremely knowledgeable about the local wildlife and plant life, which we learned a lot about on the tour. Yara is very nice and easy to talk to if you have any questions. We are nature and animal lovers and could tell that Yara was very in tune with nature and really cares about the environment, so we really appreciated that we were able to share this experience with her. We had so much fun on the hike, as well as kayaking on the river and got to see so many sloths and many other animals. We highly recommend doing a tour with Yara! You won't regret it!

Amazing tour experience ! - I had the most incredible tour with Yara! I did the Punta Uva hiking and kayaking tour, and was able to see countless sloths and several baby sloths as well! Yara is so knowledgeable about local wildlife and history, and does an incredible job and respecting the land through sustainable tourism. I would highly recommend Yara to anyone who is looking to take a tour in the Puerto Viejo area!

Price-performance ratio is not right here - Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here at all. For about $10 you can rent kayaks for an hour, which is enough for your own exploration.
