Awesome experience! - My boyfriend and I took this tour with Alex and it was amazing!! We saw sloths, turtles, variety of different birds. Alex was super knowledgeable and kind, felt like spending the day with a friend who knew his way around. The highlight was during the kayaking where we were blessed to see several spider monkeys making their way across the river above us , like something you would see in a movie !! Thanks Alex!!!!

Suitable for everyone & anyone - A relaxed and informative tour that was a good mix of facts, history, nature, flower, fauna and kayaking. A gentle walk around Punta Nuva seeing sloths, tucans, monkeys & birds from sea level and the lookout next to a historic gravestone above the ocean. Informative and enjoyable, it was great to have a guide that catered to everyone's needs and didn't get too caught up on finding wildlife for the sake of it which has been the case on other tours in Costa Rica. The Kayak trip is suitable for all ages, skill levels and fitness and is a gentle paddle through the mangroves spotting animals, turtles, frogs and lizards and a relaxing was to paddle in areas you probably wouldn't with out a guide not knowing what you might find. Alex was great, provided all we needed and answered questions about not just wildlife but Costa Rica, the Coast, it's people, history and lifestyle giving it a real authentic local feel and not a tick box tour as some can be.

Fun and informative - Robert was our guide and he was wonderful. He was so informative and friendly. It was very enjoyable. We had travel delays and needed to reschedule, they were so easy to work with and had us booked with a guide for the next day. It was an overall great experience.

Diversity of wildlife - We were with our two kids (10 and 7 years old) on the kayak tour. Without the experience of our tour guide Alex, we wouldn’t have even discovered a third of the animals. Barely 3 minutes after the start of the tour we could already spot a fautier about 1.5 m above our heads, so I thought at first: they hung a stuffed animal for the touris in the tree :) Monkeys, toucans, iguanas, turtles, various birds, bats, lizards and sloths we have seen everything.

Pretty good experience - Alic was a good guide, knowledgeable and helpful. It wasn't his fault that it suddenly began to rain really hard, or that the sloths were hard to see. I was a little surprised he didn't even offer us life jackets, or ask us to sign a waiver as would have been required in the US. My husband and I were the only ones on the tour which was quite nice. We saw many birds, lizards, bats and turtles, and heard many more.
