This tour not only combines the excitement of one of the safest and most sought-after adventures in Costa Rica, you also offer the amazing perspective of the cloud forest canopy, a perspective that could only be appreciated by some scientists until recently.
Hanging Bridges:
The tour of the suspension bridges consists of 3.06 kilometers of trails in which our visitors will find eight bridges of different sizes, which range between 50 and 170 meters in length. Each bridge has a width of 1.50 meters and a capacity of up to 80 people per bridge which makes the bridges
Selvatura Park pendants not only in the largest suspension bridge system, but also in the toughest in Costa Rica.

Do it - The tour we bought included transportation from our Monteverde hotel. We did zip lining and hanging bridges. I was very scared going into the zip lining but after the safety briefing I felt better. You start on a very short line which makes you feel comfortable. Many of the lines are connected on different platforms. Only about 3-4 do you have to hike to. The hike is very steep and lots of stairs. I’m not out of shape but I’m not in the best shape and it was hard. The last zip line is the longest in Costa Rica and it was so cool. It was rainy and cloudy so we couldn’t even see where we were going to end up (kinda scary). Highly recommend. Then we die the hanging bridges. It was a beautiful hike at various levels of the forest. Sometimes you were in the trees, sometimes you were below the trees, and sometimes you were above the trees. Not as strenuous hiking between the bridges as the walks between zip line posts. Since we did transportation we were allowed to go at our own pace that day and just grabbed the next shuttle when we were done

Zipline! - The zip line and hanging bridges are awesome. Note that this is not the cloud forest and you don’t need a guide here. Definitely do this. Do the cloud forest a separate day

A wonderful way to experience the rainforest canopy. - Fun time! 12 zip lines of various lengths, some of which you ride with a partner. The team of guys who clipped us in and out were polite and competent, so I felt safe throughout. Soaring above the rainforest canopy was breathtaking. There’s also an optional “Tarzan” swing which made me joyfully shriek at the drop off. Lastly, we walked 8 swinging bridges which gave us a different perspective of the jungle we just flew over.
This tour is purely experiential and fun. No one points out flora or fauna. Explore the butterfly garden, reptile habitat, or sloth sanctuary if you want that other part of your brain stimulated. They are also great.

Fantastic. - Fantastic super guides, long stretches, safety was top. The hangers were great. Taken about an hour and walk around. So lush. Recommended!!!

Amazing - This was an incredible tour! All the guides were super helpful throughout the entire canopy tour and always made sure you were safe! The views were outstanding and everything was well organised. The hanging bridges were beautiful and were very easily accessible!

The highlight of our vacation!! - From start to finish, the entire crew were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The operation itself was safe, loads of fun and definetly worth the price. We had an amazing time and we'll be recommending it to all our friends and family. Our only suggestion would be to include more variety of pictures and videos in the photo packet. It seems that the selling point was that there would be over 300 pictures, but a lot of them were individualized frames of the same videos taken. It's better than going home with nothing at all, but it could use a bit of variety. But still an AWESOME experience.

Great for active people not so good for the elderly and people with mobility issues - Tour guides are amazing, very professional and very kind. However, I think a little more explanation of what’s entailed needs to be disclosed. At 67 I was not ready for hiking between platforms uphill, then upstairs to a high platform. If you have any mobility issues, I would avoid it. I am still very active, but it took a lot out of me. The guides were so kind and understanding and stayed with me and even Tandem me on the rest of the zip lining after platform five. It is an amazing experience if you are fully active, my 211-year-old grandchildren absolutely loved it. It was fantastic. They did the Tarzan swing, and that was almost the highlight of the zip lining. The Canopy Tour disappointing walking over a hanging bridges not such a big deal. It was just a long boring walk.

Family fun for the fit! - Experience was great! Small pickup group which was nice. The ziplining was great but be forewarned that there is A LOT of uphill walking. They don't tell you this. The same with the hanging bridges. We had been hiking for 2 days prior to this activity and were exhausted. You must be moderately fit to do this activity! The staff were amazing though and very thorough and safe! Kids LOVED the sloth sanctuary :)

not safe - I hate to give a poor review but safety should always be first priority with tours especially zip lining! We felt rushed though the first 4 lines. some platforms only had one worker so while he was clipping someone to the next line he had to hurry back to brake the zip liner coming in. On line 4 he did not make it back in time to brake me and by the time i realize she wasn’t going to help break me i came in hot and hot the tree. luckily it was not on a very fast line and I used my forearm to brace my crash. I was shocked , in pain, completely untrusting to continue with 10 more lines! My husband calmed me down and he stayed at the end of each line to make sure they stopped me appropriately. I always made sure I had my arm up ready to brake myself if that happened again. After my accident we paid a lot more attention to what was going on. My son’s girlfriend was being rushed through and the worker only clipped one of the 2 safety clips to the line, my son noticed and clipped it for her. After line 5 they did not rush us through and we felt somewhat safer. The view was amazing and it would have been one of the best zip line experiences but my anxiety and trust was gone after the crash. plus I was in pain. So I can not recommend this until they get more workers and have at least two people per platform one to brake the incoming and one to clip you to the next line. And not rush.
