A Must-Do While in Costa Rica! - Our time with Eddy was amazing. As a local, Eddy is super knowledgeable about the different places that have the best concentrations of the bioluminescent algae, and because of this, we were able to see super bright bioluminescence. This is a must-do experience during your time in Costa Rica!!

Shooting stars - Eddie’s trip was awesome. He knew exactly where to take us for the best bioluminescence. The place was easy to get to and he made the trip fun.

Eddy is the best! - Eddy is a fabulous tour guide! He is so warm & friendly and really knows his stuff. He has such skill in piloting the boat and in his knowledge of bioluminescence. His explanations were detailed but very accessible for all ages. The Eddy’s boats are very stable and comfortable—-they are very low to the water so that dipping your hands in the water is easy and comfortable. We had thought that kayaks would give us a better experience but we were wrong. The boat is the way to go! It’s a one of a kind experience and Eddy makes it unforgettable. We also loved looking up at the stars. Eddy is the best.

Excellent experience of bioluminescence with Eddie! - Viewing bioluminescence with Eddie was exceptional! We went out in his boat with a small group, and toured the waters where we saw bioluminescence personally by dipping our hands and oars in the water. Eddie explained the phenomenon and was an excellent guide. He brought us to several different locations during the more than 60 minute adventure.

Amazing amazing! - Eddy's Bioluminescence was such an amazing experience. I have wanted to see Bioluminescence for 15+ years, and it did not disappoint. Eddy was super knowledgable (has been in the business for 30+ years), and really helps you experience bioluminescence to its fullest. My husband and I went on the 8PM tour (in a boat), and got to experience a full 1.5 hours in nature. It really felt like a spiritual experience. Cannot recommend enough!

Too traumatic to enjoy - We went with El Gecko tour our guide did not speak English and offered no information - there was boat traffic in the pitch dark with no way to signal the boats our little kayak was there Grateful to make it out alive!!!!

A must do!! - I’m not sure what was more special, spending time with Eddy or the bioluminescence tour itself. Eddy is born and raised in CR and shares his love and knowledge of the area on each tour. It was amazing to see the water glow. We loved it so much we went twice in one week!! Highly recommend.

Unique, interesting experience - This was a cool experience - Eddy was able to find spots with bioluminescence in the water, despite a full moon (it was, fortunately, a relatively windless night). it is also a nice location, with a beautiful glow from the setting sun at the start of the tour. Recommended! (P.S. Don't expect glowing water like on some photos associated with bioluminescence tours - I suspect it happens, but our experience was much more subtle (and worth it nevertheless).)

Magical experience - We had a wonderful time doing the bioluminescence tour with Eddy. He was very informative and fun. I enjoyed kayaking under the stars and it was super cool to see the water light up with movement. I especially loved swimming with the algae. Very magical experience
