North, with its imposing nature - Beautiful landscapes! It was very windy in July, so you should dress warmly. Maybe the enjoyment is priceless, you have to be encouraged.

Amazing day - A long day but well worth it as the Salinas Grandes is unbelievable and the journey to and from Salta is amazing with all the beautiful scenery and the winding route through the hills. The town of Purmamarca is a nice market town full of bargains and delicious food, so overall a brilliant day and I would highly recommend it.

Nice trip with a night in Purmamarca - Very nice 2-day tour with very good guides on each of the two days. (The tour is a combination of 2 tours and each day with other people) Staying in Purmamarca for the night was an excellent decision.

Stay overnight - Salinas grandes for the pics of course. But the best was staying overnight and going to a bar which has a really vibrant music scene. All sorts for all tastes.

Wonderful experience! - The tour was great! tour guides were knowledgeable and they gave us enough time during stops to enjoy the landscapes 😊 they also took pics for us. I recommend Tiamar for tours! I minus one star because they switched the day itinerary and didn’t let us know in advance

Safety pin!! - This is a tour that does not actually exist: it is a combination of 2 tours, the one to Salina and Purmamarca on the one hand and the one to Humahuaca and Tilcara on the other, only without returning to Salta at night. I definitely recommend it!! Because you save about 4 hours of round trip travel that you can make better use of, and because spending the night in Purmamarca is a beautiful experience. That said, the fact that the tour itself does not exist generates a series of confusions for the agency!! Like when you arrive in Purmamarca on the first day your guide finds out that you are staying... like on the second day they pick you up at the hotel in Salta (??) and since they can't find you they call you at 7 a.m. Anyway... those things. Even so, I still recommend it! And when I searched, I couldn't find another tour that did something similar. 2 negative notes: 1. It is a lie that in Purmamarca they take you and look for you at the hotel, you have to go there yourself, and since the town is in the mountains if you do not have good mobility and you carry bags it can be complicated; 2. In Tilcara they leave you far from Pucará, and with very little time to go, tour and return. A shame. If you are going to want to see the Hornocal in Humahuaca you have to organize it beforehand! I don't know how, but when we arrived the guide clearly separated those who went up from those who didn't. The guides and the driver were all very good, and the nature was unbeatable!! Beautiful, abundant and generous. The photos do not show the immensity of the landscapes and the variety of colors!

Good tour, bad organization. - You have to know that the tour is actually two day tours, so the planning was a disaster. Our guide on the first day didn't know that our tour was two days and had to clarify that first. We also did the tour the wrong way round and didn't get to Purmamarca until 6pm on the first day and didn't have enough time to see everything there. We then stayed far too long on the second day. Our guides on both days were great, and it's only because of them that we get 3 stars. Otherwise, the organization of the tour for 2 days was just a disaster

Great guid but overall too long and too little to see and do - First of all: Our tour guide, Monserrat, was great! Super friendly, spoke very good English, was knowledgeable and had a very positive energy about her! So, the rest of the review is not linked to her performance. A few things you should know when considering this tour: - This is in fact not a 2 days trip but two different tours on two consecutive days. That means you will travel with two groups and potentially even two guides. It also took some coordination effort to organize our pickup in Purmamarca on the second day (but the operators speak English and can be contacted through WhatsApp, so it all worked out in the end). - This trip has close to no physical activity. That means you will sit for hours and hours on a bus, get off every now and then to click a few pictures, then get on again. The only longer stops are in villages to get something to eat, the salt mines in the first day and at a pottery workshop on the second day. - What we learned during our stay in Argentina: Most probably you will get the same tour much cheaper when booking locally (eg through your hostel) than booking through a platform like this. This is simply an effect of different exchange rates but over the course of the trip this can sum up to several hundred dollars. - While you will find bathrooms throughout this trip (and the guide helps with always announcing the next bathroom options) please bote that there often not in good condition. Toilet paper and soap are not a given. So, if you go make sure to carry some paper and some disinfectant with you. Now for the trip as such: What is truly stunning are the views you will have on this tour pretty much from the second you enter into Jujuy. That alone is worth a trip from Salta up north. The mountain of seven colors is great but does not look as nice in really life as in some pictures you might find online. However, you will see these different colorings throughout the trip so the overall phenomenon is impressive. The salt mines are primarily great for pictures. Make sure to take sunglasses, otherwise you will be pretty much bkinded there. The appeal of Purmamarca was only revealed to us at night (and thereby not as part of the organized trip) when we discovered the surprising and amazing live music scene this village has to offer. On the next day the pottery workshop (tour only in Spanish unfortunately, but our guide gave us the most important information upfront) and the stop at the tropic of Capricorn felt to us a bit like filling activities and in the first case a chance to buy souvenirs. Humahuaca was to us quite frankly a bit underwhelming (again, guides tour only in Spanish). There ia a restaurant organized there with cheap food and a very authentic experience, a band came and played a few songs, the other guests enthusiastically sang along. If you consider going to that restaurant: Unfortunately, the place served dirty plates (and we are not talking about water stains, these plates were seriously dirty) and both in the salad and in the empanadas were sand. The next village, Tilcara, we liked much better, it also seemed to be in better shape. Unfortunately, we only got 30 minutes there. If you are looking for a proper and fully functioning bathroom, this is the place (eg cafe A La Payla). We did not cover the church of Uquia even though it was part of the description. So, can we recommend it? Not in this 2 day setup. The second day was not too interesting for us and in hindsight we probably would have found something more relevant for our taste. What we can recommend is doing just the first day and either coming back to Salta in the evening or (if you have the slightest interest in live music) staying the night in Purmamarca and then coming straight back the next morning.

Very informative tours. Friendly bus driver guides, Great landscapes. unfortunately the driving was risky. - Very informative tours. Friendly bus driver guides, Great landscapes. unfortunately the driving was risky. With this company, the tour guide and bus driver are one and the same person to save costs. Apparently they have to complete the tours in far too short a time. This means that the bus driver tour guides become fast drivers here. On this "first tour to Jujui" cars were often heroically overtaken. In the mountains, serpentines are approached quickly without first reducing the speed. At times my wife and I felt quite uncomfortable during the journey.
