Duration: 5 hours
Highlights
  • Seri Wawasan Bridge, Putrajaya - The first stop is one of seven bridges in Putrajaya and is considered the most elegant. This 240-meter cable-stayed bridge boasts a futuristic design inspired by the shape of a sailing ship. The Seri Wawasan Bridge can be seen from various points around the city.
  • Putra Square - Putra Square (Dataran Putra) is a city square located in Presint 1, Putrajaya, Malaysia. It has hosted events such as the Malaysian Independence Day parade. The 300-meter circular square is surrounded by Perdana Putra, Putra Mosque, Putra Bridge, and the Promenade Shopping Mall. A tall flagpole in the square displays the National flag of Malaysia, encircled by the flags of its States.
  • Putrajaya Lake - Putrajaya Lake is situated at the heart of Putrajaya, Malaysia. This 650-hectare man-made lake serves as a natural cooling system for the city and is also used for recreation, fishing, water sports, and water transport.
  • Putra Mosque - The Putra Mosque is known for its iconic pink hue, thanks to its rose-tinted granite. Built by the lake in 1997, the mosque can accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers. Visitors often stop to take photographs of this sophisticated landmark, which draws inspiration from Malay and Middle Eastern designs.
  • Perdana Putra - This impressive building sits atop the main hill in Putrajaya, featuring a palatial-style green dome and stone walls. Combining Islamic and modern architecture, this office complex is where ministers and high-ranking officials work. While it is not open to visitors, its grandeur can still be admired from the outside.
  • Kelab Tasik Putrajaya - Cruise Tasik Putrajaya offers various types of boats to meet different cruising needs. Guests can choose from modern, luxurious air-conditioned cruise boats or beautiful traditional handcrafted boats. One of the best ways to see the city’s sights is by taking a 45-minute daytime or evening sightseeing cruise on a comfortable air-conditioned 76-seater cruise boat.
  • Seri Perdana - Seri Perdana is the official residence of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, located in Putrajaya.
  • Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin (Masjid Besi) - The Iron Mosque, also known as the Tunku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, is an architectural marvel worth visiting. Made primarily of steel, its “wire mesh” design is inspired by Chinese and German architecture. Unlike other mosques in Malaysia, it lacks a minaret for the call to prayer. From a distance, it appears to be made of metal or glass.
  • Millennium Monument - Built in 2005 to welcome the new millennium, this is the first monument constructed in Putrajaya. The walkway spiraling around the monument depicts Malaysia’s history, with panels describing significant events in the country. A time capsule at the base of the monument is set to be opened in 2020. As you ascend the ramps of the Millennium Monument, you can enjoy panoramic views of the waterfront.
  • 172, Persiaran Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah - Istana Melawati is the second national palace of Malaysia’s Yang di-Pertuan Agong in Putrajaya, serving as a royal retreat after the Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur.
  • Moroccan Pavilion Putrajaya - Architecture and cultural design enthusiasts should not miss the Moroccan Pavilion Putrajaya, which showcases stunning Moorish architecture. Also known as Astaka Morocco, this magnificent monument, surrounded by landscaped gardens and a scenic lake, symbolizes the strong diplomatic ties between Malaysia and Morocco.
  • Putrajaya Monorail Bridge - The Monorail Suspension Bridge is one of many bridges in Putrajaya, Malaysia. It was constructed to connect several key landmarks in the area, such as the Putrajaya Convention Centre, Putra Mosque, and the Government Administrative Complex in Parcel E. The bridge’s main span is approximately 240 meters long and 10 meters wide. It is owned by Putrajaya Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and was designed by PJS International Sdn. Bhd.

Great guide, amazing sights! - Had an amazing tour all around Putrajaya! Is definitely worth a look. My guide Kal was very friendly and was extremely knowledgeable about the history of all the places we visited. As it was my last day Kal was also able to arrange airport transfer immediately after we had finished the Putrajaya tour. Very convenient and easy process! Would highly recommend!
