Qamarvan - Located 18 km from the center of Gamarvan, this village is nestled in the north-west on the left bank of the Bum River (a tributary of the Turyan River), on the slope of the Main Caucasian Range. The residents are known for their friendliness, smiles, and hospitality, reflecting the village’s natural charm.[2] The village’s history dates back to the mid-19th century when the Lezgi people from Dagestan settled here, transitioning from their nomadic lifestyle. Unlike other parts of the region, Qamarvan remains nomadic to this day. The village thrives on sheep farming, which brings considerable wealth, and also benefits from local tourism. Its picturesque landscape attracts visitors year-round, with city dwellers often renting rural houses to enjoy both winter and summer seasons. The village boasts well-maintained roads and natural hot springs with healing properties.[2]

Nohur Gol - Situated 3 km east of Gabala city and 1 km north of Nohurqishlaq village, this lake lies in a natural hollow between the Gulluburun, Goydag, and Yumuru mountains, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level.[1] Originally a natural lake until 1949, it was surrounded by a swamp with thick reeds and aquatic plants, featuring yellow-green water in its central deep hole. In 1949, an 850 m long, 8-10 m high, and 4-6 m wide earthen dam was constructed between Güllü burun and Yumuru mountains. Today, the reservoir measures 1925 meters in length, 1355 meters in width, covering an area of 240 hectares. Its maximum depth reaches 24 m, with a water volume of 16 million m³.

Yeddi Gozel Waterfall - Known as the “Seven Beautiful” waterfalls, they are located in the Vandam settlement of Gabala city. Although there are not seven waterfalls, there are seven steps that allow visitors to climb the mountain. During late autumn, winter, and early spring, the area around the waterfall becomes icy, making it difficult to climb.
After reaching the Vandam settlement, visitors must travel four kilometers to the “Yeddi Yum” waterfall. This is because the “Seven Beautiful” waterfall is situated at the mountain’s base, in a densely forested area. Thousands of tourists visit the waterfall annually.
