Peaceful leisure - It was a wonderful experience to see the nile river. Our tour guide came with us on the felucca and shared some of interesting pieces of their history. There is nothing really special about and it can’t be compared to the big boat cruise on the river, but if you want a private leisure tour of the nile, away from the crowd then this is a good experience.

Wonderful Nile trip - Beautiful leisurely Nile trip with a very entertaining Captain, who sang to us and danced too. Perfect way to see the Nile. Had an amazing lunch afterwards in Cairos oldest restaurant, food was amazing!

Beautiful Nile sites. - Great experience. Because there was no wind that day our guide recommended we do a different boat so we could see more of the river.

The fantastic service provided by Taj Club house Chennai and its employees - The stay was really good and I was especially impressed with their staff. So courteous and well behaved and professional. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. My room was served by Joyjit and he was a delight to talk to. He always used to come and inquire about me if I needed something done, and it gave a very homely feeling to me. It really left a very good impression on me and now I will prefer to stay at Taj hotels if possible. Thank you to everyone for making my stay so peaceful and effortless.

Great! - This was a relaxing shirt and sweet ride on a sailboat on the Nile River. My wife and I enjoyed it very much and recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want to commit to a long tour but still wants to get out and do something.

No Felucca and takeaway lunch in the back of the car! But still a good trip. - Well it wasn’t a Felucca and it wasn't much of a lunch. However it was a very enjoyable private boat trip on the Nile. Lunch was a takeaway chicken shawarma! Ok yes it was very tasty but we ate it in the car en route back! Not quite what we had thought it would be. So the 3 stars are really only because it wasnt as advertised but we did have a good time.

This Really Missed the Mark, Not up to Viator’s Usual Excellence - The guide did not say a SINGLE word on the way to the boat nor the whole way back to the hotel. When we got to the boats, he got out of the van to make arrangements and came back to the van and told us the government said there couldn’t be any felucca rides that day! Had no one checked in advance to confirm with the boat owner? Our only choices were to go back to the hotel (!!) or take a 30 minute ride (instead of the hour ride) in a motor boat. Faced with these choices, we chose the motor boat. But wait, the guide didn’t go on the boat with us so we had NO narration, just a ride with a driver. We were so disappointed. Viator hasn’t let us down in the past and we’re hoping they don’t now.
