• Giza Plateau - Begins at 8:00 am with a hotel pickup in either Cairo or Giza by a tour guide, followed by a transfer to the Giza Pyramids to start your half-day tour. You’ll visit the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos.

There is an opportunity to explore the Pyramids from the inside or enjoy a camel ride around the great pyramids, but these activities are subject to an additional charge.

• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The only completely preserved portrait of the king is a three-inch high ivory figurine found in a temple ruin from a later period at Abydos in 1903. All other reliefs and statues were discovered in fragments, and many of Khufu’s buildings are lost. Everything known about Khufu comes from inscriptions in his necropolis at Giza and later documents. For instance, Khufu is the main character noted in the Westcar Papyrus from the 13th dynasty.
• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre, some of which were found in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860. Others were discovered during subsequent excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex comprises a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also revealed several statues of Menkaure.
• Great Sphinx - Conclude your tour with a visit to the Valley Temple, where the priests mummified the body of King Chephren. Here, you’ll get a close-up view of the Sphinx - the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the vast funeral complex. This is also a great spot to take amusing photos with the Sphinx, and your guide will assist you in capturing these moments.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
