  • Pyramids of Giza - Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by a tour guide. The Giza Pyramid Complex, also known as the Giza Necropolis, is located on the Giza Plateau in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza. These structures were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. The site also features several cemeteries and the remains of a workers’ village.
  • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, which is now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site has not been fully excavated.
  • Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple has yielded several statues of Khafre, some of which were found in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860.
  • Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple.
  • Gizeh Plateau - The Giza Plateau is a limestone plateau in Giza, Egypt, and is the site of the Fourth Dynasty Giza pyramid complex. This complex includes the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the Great Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers’ village, and an industrial complex. It forms the northernmost part of the 16,000-hectare Pyramid Fields in the Western Desert edge of the Nile Valley, which are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Memphis and its Necropolis. The plateau is approximately 60 meters above sea level.
  • Great Sphinx - The Sphinx dates back to the reign of King Khafre. During the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet, which was later expanded by subsequent rulers.
  • Memphis and Sakkara - Then visit Memphis City.
  • Pyramid of Unas - Enhance your home decor with a magnificent replica of the Pyramid of Unas. This stunning piece features intricate detailing and a striking design that adds a touch of ancient Egyptian elegance to any room. Crafted with quality materials, this pyramid is a perfect addition to any collector’s display or history enthusiast’s collection. Bring a piece of ancient history into your home with the Pyramid of Unas.
  • Pyramid of Teti - The Pyramid of Teti, located in Saqqara, Egypt, is a captivating ancient structure built as the final resting place for Pharaoh Teti. It stands as a testament to the ingenuity and architectural prowess of the Old Kingdom. This pyramid attracts visitors from around the world with its impressive size and historical significance. Explore the chambers and corridors of this pyramid to uncover the mysteries of ancient Egypt and immerse yourself in the rich history of this iconic landmark.
  • Mastaba of Ti - The Mastaba of Ti is one of the most important archaeological sites in Saqqara. Discovered by Auguste Mariette, the mastaba contains two serdabs. The walls of the tomb depict various scenes of everyday life.
  • Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Then visit Sakkara, located only 27 km southwest of Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid (built for King Zoser), which is considered an important part of the evolution of pyramid construction, transitioning from the simple mastaba to its widely known form. Great experience with the Private Day Tour Giza, Memphis and Sakkaraaqqara, - Excellent choice of trip. The local guide spoke very good English, he offered valuable information in a calm and professional manner. He made the whole day trip smooth as he kept away all the locals who constantly asked for a tip or tried to sell things. Easy access to all sites, no wait in line for tickets. Prompt pick up from the hotel and also very good driver who accompanied us all day long - different person. The stop next to the Sphinx was kind of in a rush, but that was no problem for us since we had an extra day in Cairo and visited the place once more. Good choice of restaurant for lunch. We highly recommend the tour, the travel agency and local guide.

In awe… You need to see it to believe it. - I had one of the best days of my life on this tour. We started off early with a hotel pick up in an air conditioned SUV at 9am by the our tour guide Mohammed and the ever so polite driver also called Mohammed. Mohammed our tour guide who has a degree in history was incredibly friendly from the start and we even started our day off with a stop at the coffee shop near the Pyramids. He was incredibly knowledgeable and funny explaining the history about the old, middle and new kingdoms in Egypt. I was in awe of what we were seeing and Mohammed took the most unbelievable pictures documenting our entire trip. We did a horse carriage ride instead of a camel ride and the locals took stunning pictures of us. We visited the papyrus museum and priced down some artwork. We also visited some oil (was in my element here) and souvenir shops in between going to Memphis (Sphinx) and Sakkara (First step pyramid) which were both stunning little villages. All I can say is get your haggling hat on. I couldn’t pick which part of the tour was my favourite as all the monuments had different cultural significances. I was told I’d be surprised at how big the stones on the Great Pyramid were and I was indeed. Egypt is a land of great people, scholars and mathematicians because it is mind-blowing seeing these magnificent statues and structures in person. I would definitely do this tour again with the same tour guide as he made it all the more enjoyable for my partner and I for all 8 and a half hours (should normally be 7-8 hrs). I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet at the restaurant which had a pyramid view. Well seasoned and tasty food (meat and veggie options) to fuel us throughout the day. Drinks were not included however, we opted for bottles of water as it was a hot day. The tour also provides unlimited bottle's of water/soft drinks throughout the day and if you need anything, they are willing to stop at the shops or toilets all along the way. All entry fairs were also purchased on our behalf. The only additional cost was the horse carriage ride and they will inform you of the pricing on the trip. I can say I was truly emotional going through my camera roll at the end of the day. Such a beautiful experience and it really is to me, the number 1 wonder of the world. Thank you for such an extraordinary experience!

A special experience! - The tour was simply perfect, Sam is a serious and reliable person, he speaks perfect Italian and is very knowledgeable about everything. He arrived at the hotel to pick us up with his driver, there are no words to describe his kindness and availability. We started the tour from Saqquara, he advised us to also visit a tomb located in the site of Saqquara where there were monumental sarcophagi of some bulls, I attach the photos to show you the wonder, and then visit the site of Memphis. We had lunch in a restaurant that was, to say the least, wonderful but above all very good, then we visited the archaeological site of Giza, at the end of the tour, and then took us back to the hotel in complete safety. I recommend this tour but above all ask for Sam because without him it wouldn't have been the same wonderful experience! Thank you so much for giving me such a special first day!

Essam, the best guide of Emo Egypt Tours - Essam was a great guide. Enjoyed the whole day tour. He explained the relevance of all the spots. Help us take excellent pictures like a pro photographer. Told us stories and histories. Very detailed and always concerned about us and our safety. Worth the value and more. Lunch was also great. Driver Mohammed was also very pollite and helpful. Will ask for him again when using Emo Tours. Highly recommended!

Good value but say no to the unadvertised extra stops - We booked the tour as a private party of 9, the car and the guide only. Overall, it was a good tour, not very good, but good. We started with the pyramids and sphinx, which felt very rushed tbh. I think we spent less than 30 minutes up close to the pyramids, which I am really regretful about. Then we drove away for a panoramic view and camel ride. The camel ride, was about $10 for 30 minutes and was the highlight. Our guide Ehab, wasn't keen on us stopping to get close to the Sphinx, and only did so as we pushed for it. After this we stopped for a 'coffee' at a local perfume factory, which was a hard sell and complete waste of 45 minutes I will never get back. No rush here from the guide, interestingly enough, and not advertised as part of the tour. We then stopped for lunch at a local buffet, good value, good food, nice vibe (we paid separately for this, approx $8-9 pp). After we went on to Memphis and Saqqara. Memphis museum was grand and interesting, many artefacts. Second largest sphinx in Egypt is there. Saqqara was beautiful in the late afternoon. We went inside the pyramid here, not for the claustrophobes among us, narrow tunnels and rooms. Nothing to see so much, once you've done it, you wouldn't need to do it again. On route home, I told the guide we wanted to go straight to the hotel, but he said the papyrus shop was en route as was the Egyptian cotton shop. The papyrus was ok, still more expensive than others we visited later in our travels. The cotton shop was another waste of time. They were not en route to our hotel. I would advise Emo Tours as great value, but not so great with the additions, that I would have declined had I been asked, and actually did try and decline, but was fobbed off. Definitely tell them ahead of time not to stop at these extras as I think they're hard sells, over inflated prices and cut in to your actual tour time, when you could be enjoying the sights.
