Great tour of the old citadel and mosque (opened to non-muslims) - We toured the citadel, and mosque as a group. It is a fascinating site, covering many centuries of history. The mosque is beautiful, even if unique and with a byzantine flair.
Our guide was very instructive, and being there at sunset gave us a first glimpse of the pyramids.

Beautiful palace & mosque - This was one of our favorite places to visit in Cairo. The mosque as well as palace and throne room is beautiful. It also wasn't so busy so we had the place to ourselves (we went in the morning)

Lovely experience - We went today to the citadel and sultan Hassan mosque with the lovely esraa we were fascinated with the rich history they hold she was quiet knowledgeable with interesting story telling and sense of humor as well we are already planning more trips soon.
