• Signal Hill Park - Signal Hill Park with a short uphill 15 minute walk to the top will give you the best view of Old Town Qingdao. Its the best viewpoint to get a birds-eye view of red-roofed villas and greenery.
• Qingdao Site Museum of the Former German Governor’s Residence - German Governors Mansion, one of the finest examples of colonial-era architecture, with its distinctive Art-Nouveau style. Built at a extravagant price in 1903, its opulence is still on show - we will take a 30 minute tour of the mansion. 
• Protestant Church (Jidu Jiaotang) - Protestant Church, built in 1908, the picturesque church has a simple yet beautiful design. It’s also has a still-working clock mechanic dated 1909.
• Qingdao Beer Museum - The biggest legacy of German rule was no doubt the introduction of the famed

Tsingdao Brewary! So,  after lunch we will visit the site for a tour of its museum, where there will be free tasters if desired. The museum tells the  story of the popularity of this international renowned beer, and will take around 1 hour.

Explore the history of German-Era Qingdao and its enduring legacy of beautifully preserved architecture, spa neighborhoods, and the introduction of Tsingtao Beer.

The tour begins at Signal Hill, offering the best view of Qingdao’s Old Town, and continues with a walking tour of the Old Town. Highlights include the Gothic-style St Michael’s Cathedral, the 120-year-old Protestant Church, and the Bavarian-style Old Governor’s Mansion, with a lunch break at a local food market.

After lunch, visitors will learn about the Tsingtao Beer Brewery, an ideal spot to sample one of the world’s most popular and best-selling beers. (Fun Fact: The brewery was founded by the Germans!)

The tour concludes in the Badaguan neighborhood, a spa village by the seaside featuring internationally inspired architecture.

The entire tour lasts approximately 7 hours and is led by an experienced guide to provide a personalized experience.
