Wonderful Gabala Trip with a Great Guide - Our trip to Gabala from Baku was incredible. With our guide Nazperi, we visited Tufandag Restaurant, Nohur Lake, did some shopping, and took a cable car up Tufandag Mountain for breathtaking views, costing 19 AZN per person. Nazperi was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared fascinating historical details, making the trip even more enjoyable. Everything was well-organized and absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Interesting Tour - Our tour of Shamakhi and Gabala with my family was an incredible adventure through Azerbaijan's beautiful landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Both cities offered a unique blend of history, nature, and modernity, making this trip truly memorable. We began in Shamakhi, one of the oldest cities in Azerbaijan. It was fascinating to explore this historical town, which dates back to ancient times. The highlight of Shamakhi was our visit to the Juma Mosque, an architectural gem with a serene atmosphere. The mosque’s impressive structure and the surrounding gardens made it a perfect spot to reflect and take in the history of the area. We also visited the Shamakhi Mausoleum, which was both peaceful and educational, offering insights into the region’s Islamic heritage and its historical significance. After enjoying the history of Shamakhi, we made our way to Gabala, a city surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Caucasus Mountains. Gabala is known for its natural beauty, and we were in awe of the views from almost every spot. The Tufandag Mountain Resort was a major highlight, where we took the cable car up to the mountain for panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks and lush valleys below. The cool mountain air was refreshing, and the experience was both relaxing and invigorating. In Gabala, we also explored the Nohur Lake, a picturesque spot surrounded by forested hills. The lake's calm waters mirrored the lush greenery, creating a perfect backdrop for a peaceful family picnic. We enjoyed a leisurely walk around the lake and had a chance to take beautiful photos of the natural scenery. Another memorable experience was visiting the Gabala Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum, where we learned more about the local history and culture. The exhibits provided insight into the traditions, crafts, and lifestyle of the people of the region. Overall, our trip to Shamakhi and Gabala was a perfect blend of nature, history, and family-friendly activities. Both cities offer something for everyone—whether you’re interested in historical exploration, outdoor adventures, or simply enjoying the peaceful landscapes. It was an enriching experience for my family, and we’ll definitely cherish the memories of this wonderful tour for years to come.

Amazing day trip to Shamakhi, Nohur Lake and Gabala! - Nazperi took us on a wonderful day trip..We drove through Gobustan to Diri Baba Mausoleum. It was a cold morning, and we were thrilled to see the snow near the mausoleum, which was an interesting site. The next stop was at the Juma Masjid. After lunch, we went to Nohur Lake. En route there was a stop a scenic place. We took a lot of photos there - it was beautiful! It was a treat to see colourful lettuces at Nohur Lake. We then went to Tufandag Mountain. It was an exhilarating cable car ride to the top of the mountain. We spent some time there looking at breathtaking views of the peaks around us. A shopping stop followed before we headed back to Baku. Overall a satisfying day, thanks to Nazperi!

Road trip to Gabala & Sheki - The drive from Baku to Gabala took very long. There was long queue at the cable car (Tufendag) - better to get tickets in advance as they are not covered under the trip If possible, suggest avoiding holidays or weekends - there are long wait for changing over cable cars at the third & fourth stops, due to less cars (alternates with ski lifts). If in cold weather try to avoid Nohurgol lake boating in late evening. We couldn't cover Gabala forest, Diri baba mausoleum, Jume mosque due to another route for avoiding bad roads - and it took a lot of time travelling (so check with the driver in advance to manage expectations) The road trip was good and comfortable, but if you are going to Gabala & Sheki, try to start really early and plan
