Shamakhi city, the ancient capital of the medieval state of Shirvan, is a hub of Azerbaijani poetry and viticulture. A visit to the first Muslim temple in the Caucasus, established in 743, offers tourists insight into the history of Islam in Azerbaijan and the mosque itself. Following this, the journey continues along the Mugan mountain Pass, a classic route of the Greater Caucasus, leading northwest to Ismayilli.

Tourists are welcomed at the region’s most famous hotel, “Tufandag.” Ski trails and cable cars offer magnificent views of the mountains and the city’s central area. The highest point of this thrilling attraction is the peak of Sleeping Beauty Mountain (Yatmysh Gezel), situated about two thousand meters above sea level.
• Qabala - 17:00

Azerbaijan Travel International extends the experience beyond a cable car ride in Gabala. The next stop is a tea party at the House of Sweets, where guests enjoy tea with a variety of desserts, included in the tour price.
