Guided Azerbaijan is the best - We booked a private tour of Gobustan, Fire Temple, Fire Mountain, Mud volcanoes with Guided Azerbaijan. It was a great experience. Tahir is a knowledgable guide & showed us everything with a lot of interest. He is a great photographer too! He knows exactly v where to take pictures & shoots them well. Driver Arif too was a fabulous man adding his two boys in Azarbaijani language. Both of them took us to a lovely local joint to eat in the forest. Lamia, the incharge who did the booking for us was extremely supportive & caring…. Messaging us twice a day to check if everything was ok. Do not think twice to book your tour with Guided Azerbaijan

Interesting and engaging tour - Went with my husband and toddler and Fuad kindly split our tour into two half days to accommodate us. Tahir, our guide, was very informative and pointed out different sights based on our interests. Also a very interesting person to talk to. Highly recommend.

Ancient history in the land of fire! - We had booked a weeklong trip with Guided Azerbaijan and planned several excursions with them. We had particularly outstanding service from Lamia in planning our trip and with our driver, Tahir, who was with us the entire time. Instead of a full day tour, we customized to do these activities over 2 half days. First, the Quobustan open air museum is not to be missed and well worth a half day trip from Baku. It was fascinating to learn the history and meeting from the well-informed guide. We also enjoyed visiting the beautiful Bibiheybat Mosque. The mud volcanoes are also an interesting stop and a rare site to see! Second, we really enjoyed visiting the Atashgah Fire Temple learning about the ancient Zoroastrian religion. With the follow up at the Yanar Dag fire mountain, which has been burning for years, it was a completely unique experience only in Azerbaijan!

Azerbaijan....its just SO interesting...and I mean REALLY! - If you think Azerbaijan is a young, uninteresting country which is just all about producing oil, and has no history or culture, think again. Of the 3 countries in between the Black and Caspian seas, it is probably the least visited, but, in my book, that can only be a good thing. Azerbaijan is one of the most underrated places I've ever been, and this tour will explain why. You will visit a beautiful mosque, mud pits which, unlike those at the dead sea bubble constantly, neolithic petroglyphs, the last remaining fire mountain which never goes out, and the fire temple inside the caravanserai at Atashgah. you also drive past the oldest oil wells in the world...who knew. Taking you around will be the very unassuming, softly-spoken, Kurt Cobain look-alike, Adil, who was obviously incredibly knowledgeable but was not obsessed with the sound of his own voice, or showing off, god love him. I thoroughly recommend this trip, as a person who is not really into guided tours, and, like everything else in Azerbaijan, its cheap as chips. On a European safety note...Azerbaijani drivers hardly ever wear seat belts, and use their phones, or chat constantly while driving. when I put on a seat belt in a taxi in Baku, the driver looked like I had just insulted him.🤣 but....really if you are looking at this, you must be thinking of going. in the world of Nike....just do it.
