Upon departure, the journey takes you 2 hours north of Campbell River into prime bear territory, navigating through expansive fjords adorned with enchanting waterfalls. During this time, your guide will be on the lookout for intertidal Black bears! Following this, the tour proceeds to the estuaries in search of Grizzly bears.
This is a spring bear tour, available only in May and June, when bears emerge from hibernation and their spring foraging patterns are predictable. During this period, they are not feeding on salmon.
